As a Catholic school, we remember Mary’s care and love for everyone!

Our school founders had a strong devotion to Mother Mary who guided and helped them through the years.

As a Christian, we look up to Mary as our example of humility and openness to God’s will.

We ask her to help us to listen carefully to God speaking in our hearts and to share our faith with others joyfully.

• Today we are invited to reflect on the beauty of motherhood!

• Motherhood points to unconditional love, tenderness, and life-time commitment.

• A mother is a priceless gift.

St John Bosco (Don Bosco)

Known as Father and teacher of youth

He educated and cared for schoolchildren, young people and juvenile delinquents under the protection of our Lady Help of Christians.

St. Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist brothers also called his institute Marist because of his particular love for Mary. They run Maris Stella High & Primary.

Mary’s title ‘Star of the sea’ is what gives the school its’ name.
