We are the Cowle triplets. That's us eating pancakes for breakfast while Mom tells jokes

and packs our lunch.

Here we are riding the bus to school. We like to sit together. Up there is everyone

else on the bus.

Meet our teachers, Mrs. Chang and Mrs. Plummer.

We don't speak English in Mrs. Chang's classroom, only Mandarin. We love

both our teachers!

We read a lot each day. Sometimes we read on our own. It's fun and I always look forward

to reading on the rug with my friends.

We have morning meeting where we talk about the

weather, the calendar, our numbers and vocabulary.

Mrs. Chang likes us to take a Brain Break.

We stretch our arms and legs to activate the rest

of our body.

When the weather is nice, we have gym outside.

We ride bikes and scooters and learn about safety

on the road.

At lunch time, I get to eat all the delicious food

my Mom packed in the morning. I also get

to talk with my friends and my sisters.

This is our special guest Dr. Burrows. He's the

superintendent. He helped us in science

class where we were building with K'NEX.

Mostly, he made us laugh.

Story time is so much fun. Mrs. Plummer has lots of

interesting books. I really like The Very Hungry Catepillar.

We write in our journal every day.

Mrs. Plummer checks our work and gives us

new assignments.

I like numbers: counting, grouping,

adding, and subtracting. Mrs. Chang makes

math lessons lots of fun.

At the end of the day we put away our supplies and clean up our tables. We help each other tidy up

the classroom.

Then the last thing we do is bow and say goodbye in

Mandarin to Mrs. Chang. Then it's time to catch our bus back home.

When it’s time for Kindergarten, families have an exciting choice to make: Enroll your preschooler in a traditional Kindergarten program or challenge him/her in a stimulating immersion language setting.

In our immersion programs, students spend half the day in a class conducted entirely in the target language (Chinese or Spanish). They study mathematics, science and language arts using activities well-suited for the natural acquisition of a second language. During the second portion of the day, the children transition to an English-speaking classroom where their teacher provides instruction in English language arts and social studies while reinforcing math and science concepts with supplemental activities.

Immersion is a "School Choice" option. Families apply for consideration during the statewide "Choice" application window. Once accepted, you will not need to reapply. Children continue in the program through high school.

In Immersion, We Follow The Same Curriculum, But Learn In Two Languages Instead Of One!Morning Meeting I English Language Arts I Social Studies I Prep Math and Science I Lunch

We've created a short video to illustrate how this process works.Scan this code with a phone to see what parents and educators say about Chinese Immersion and watch a typical day unfold in school.
