Kingspan Insulated Panels are proud to present Kingspan XL Forté™, a strong, organic coating system in arange of industry inspired colours, which provides premiumprotection to the building envelope. This new range featuresenhanced UV protection, greater corrosion resistance andmost importantly is covered for up to 30 years with Kingspan’sfully comprehensive Total Coating Guarantee.

Kingspan XL Forté™ is designed in accordance with Kingspan’ssustainability visions and objectives, and as such, contains noheavy metals, is phthalate-free and is fully recyclable.

This new and exciting coating system presents specifiers witha collection of shades from subtle pastels to vibrant primarycolours. The wide variety of colours provide many designpossibilities using either individual or a combination ofcomplimentary colours.

Colour fastness and UV resistanceThe improved properties of Kingspan XL Forté™ provide bettergloss retention and weather resistance than most othercoatings available on the market. Kingspan XL Forté™’simproved UV resistance fully complies with European RUV4classification (EN 10169/1 and (EN 10169/2).

Corrosion resistanceKingspan XL Forté™ uses an innovative substrate of zinc-aluminium alloy coating 265 g/m2 (ZA265) which provides maximum resistance to corrosion on scratches and on cut edges.

ManufactureKingspan XL Forté™ is manufactured with steel, which isdurable and recyclable. The organic coating contains no heavymetals and is phthalate-free.

During useKingspan XL Forté™ is guaranteed for up to 30 years and is maintenance freefor the duration of the guarantee. It does not pose any health orcontamination risk to the user or the environment.

End of LifeThe product is fullyrecyclable at the end of its useful life.

Kingspan Insulated PanelsKingspan’s ECOsafe insulated panels use an environmentallysustainable FIREsafe PIR insulation core and specific panelsdeliver an ‘A+’ rating according to the Green Guide toSpecification. They contain no CFC’s or HCFC’s, have a lowGlobal Warming Potential (GWP) and have a commercial valuefor disposal at end of life subject to transport costs.

End of lifeRe-use is always the preferred option for all Kingspan ECOsafepanels, but if that is not possible these panels are suitable forprocessing through a conventional shredder plant once theyhave reached the end of their useful life.

The cost of processing panels through shredder plants isapproximately cost neutral with the transport costs from thesite being covered by the scrap value of steel.
