go to the next car. If it is not safe to do so, exit the train by the nearest available side door. When a side door cannot be used, exit by an emergency window.

• Before exiting the train, look around carefully for hazards on the ground such as electrical wires or debris.

• Move away from the train while looking for other trains or hazards.
