It is a seasonal salt marsh located in Kutch of Gujarat. Little Rann of Kutch occupies 4,953 sq km and is spread out in the districts of Surendranagar, Banasakantha, Patan, Kutch and Rajkot. This is the place where you will enjoy a different kind of festivals. It may be your first time, but after the first time you will wish to come here every year to join this festival. You will see a strange light on a dark night as bright as mercury, no one knows from where it comes, but it occurs on a dark night.

It changes colours to blue, red, yellow looking like a moving ball of fire. Local villagers called it Chir Batti in their local kutchi – Sindhi language Chir – ghost, Battti – light that means a ghost light . It reports on the Banni grasslands which is seasonal salt marsh wetlands and

Kala Dungar is the highest point in Kutch, and around 95 km from Bhuj. Sunset point offers a breathtaking view of Rann from here. If you are feeling energetic you can climb the dunes to the summit of your choosing, where the view along the sand ridge opens up for excellent photographic opportunities. There is a famous temple named Dattatreya Temple . It has very famous folklore attached with it, when Lord Dattatreya walked on the earth; he saw the band of jackals that were trying to get the food, Dattatreya offered his body to feast on. Then his body regenerated and fed the jackals daily. From the four centuries, till now the temple provides food for jackals. There are lots of things to do like camel safari, horse riding, kite flying, and local handicraft and lots of places to visit like Swaminarayan Temple, Mandvi Beach, and Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial. You must take the local kutchi – cuisine with is different from the traditional Gujarati cuisine. Gujarat is having lots more what you can t express.
