With a strong presence in the small and medium business (SMB) segment, Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) and micro-finance financial institutions (Koperasi) have had a long standing business relationship with SMBs, the majority of which were previously ignored by larger banks. Totaling over 50 million nationwide, the crisis-resilient SMBs have become the most prospective business driver for BPR and Koperasi.

Attracted by the huge business potential in the SMB segment, large national and local banks are now penetrating this market, bringing with them superior business and administrative processes supported by modern banking solutions. The utilization of this modern banking solution has put BPR and Koperasi at a disadvantageous position, significantly threatening their market share. We chose to address this by developing SATU, a modern banking solution for BPR and Koperasi, that supports them in the increasingly competitive SMB market.

SATU is a cloud-based (web-based) system that does not require any capital expenditure (CAPEX) for the procurement of IT hardware, software or infrastructure.

BPR and Koperasi only need to pay a monthly fee that is part of their Operating Expenses (OPEX)

SATU Provides a Modern Banking Solution

SATU is a truly modern core banking system specifically for BPR and Koperasi because uses the Software as a Service (SaaS) concept to provide software, hardware, infrastructure, and professional IT management without having to invest on them. It uses a “sharing” concept in which the entire suite of applications can be utilized at any time (online) by the whole community while maintaining the confidentiality of each data transaction, in compliance with the rules and regulations outlined by the Central Bank.
