A unique sailing experienceDo your team need some fresh air and new exciting experiences together? At the Viking Ship Museum you can take part in unique sailing trips in traditional Nordic, wooden boats, which are the descendents of the Vikings’ ships, built following the same methods and principles the Vikings used. We arrange sailing trips for groups on the Roskilde Fjord, departing from the Vi-king Ship Museum’s beautiful harbour. Participants make up the crew on board and we use the same methods of propulsion that the Vikings did – oars, square-sail and the muscle-power of those on board.
