A WORD FROM PASTOR EVON.... I am asking the church to be in a 21 day fast from January 4 to 25. The three things I’d like you to fast and pray about are: One resolution worth keeping, One need worth fasting for, and One soul you would like to see come to know the Lord and get saved!
I also have had on my heart a renewed burden for the Brownsville Community. I’d like to really receive Food for our pantry during the whole month, and coats for those who are cold.
We have two guests coming in January. Friday, January 16 Pat Schatzline will be here to minister and Ron Cantor will be speaking Sunday January 18th. It’s going to be a powerful weekend!
We were sad to see Jacob & Lexie leave last month. However, I’m pleased to announce that Anthony Suey & Carlos Guilherme will be leading the youth on an interim basis. For the interim we will be joining together Middle School and Senior High groups together. You will certainly be hearing more of their activities and upcoming events.
And Caleb Nealy will be leading the Forge Student Internship program on an interim basis as well. Please be in prayer for them during this time of transition.
Every Sunday we have guests visiting. Quite often they are from out of state. But from wherever they are, we say, “Welcome Home!”
