Dear friends,

Almost three years have gone by since the 1st Italian meeting on

perforator flaps and more than 10 since the first clinical trials in

Italy.

I am very pleased to find that, at present, the techniques

considered innovative at the time have become widespread in all

of the principal plastic surgery centres in our Country.

Our attention is currently focused on the aesthetic refinements

that can be achieved thanks to these flaps.

Microsurgery is no longer just a method for transferring a flap but

a sophisticated technique to obtain great aesthetic results with

minimal morbidity in the donor area.

This is why I wanted us to meet with the most experienced

surgeons in the sector, to be enriched by their experiences.

I look forward to seeing you in great numbers at the 2nd Italian

Meeting on perforator flaps and aesthetical refinements!

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

Abstracts should be uniformly written using the following headings:- Introduction/Purpose- Material and Methods- Results- ConclusionAbstracts, prepared in English and not exceeding 300 words, must besubmitted as a Word document to: [email protected]

In the Word document, names and institutions of the authors should appearafter the title. Abstracts should be submitted by October 10th, 2010.Abstracts that do not meet the above criteria will not be accepted.Presentations should be prepared in ppt format, in English and are scheduledfor 6 minutes.

ACCEPTANCE POLICY:

Information regarding acceptance of the abstract will be provided byOctober 26th 2010. All presenting authors should be registered for theconference by October 30th 2010: if not registered, the abstract will beconsidered not accepted.
