The Speedline EK10TD range o access

panels provides access into tiled walls, whereaccess to mechanical and electrical services isrequired. It is a strong, purpose made, accesspanel designed to provide a simple yet securemeans o accessing building services throughceramic tile or marble/stone clad walls.

Composition and ManufactureAll standard panels are or internal use and only in areaso normal humidity. For areas o high humidity or in tile

walls that will get wet, stainless steel should be used.The grout width is usually lled with sot silicone masticor a totally concealed and sealed solution. The masticis easily removable or emergency access and can bequickly resealed on completion o the service or repair.

The metal rame holds a plasterboard aced door througha sliding tube hinge system. The door is held closed witha budget lock which opens towards the user with thekey hole protected by a plastic removable bung. Thetube hinge system allows the door to be removed duringinstallation or i damage occurs.

Composition and ManufactureThe door and rame are manuactured separately rom

injection moulded high-impact white styrene plasticto a nominal material thickness o 3.5mm. Finish issel-colour white, lightly textured or painting or wallpapering on-site i required.

The door is easily removable rom the rame requiring notools. A simple pivot is moulded into the door rear. Thedoor is kept closed by concealed, integral location lugs.

Speedline EK20 panels are available in the abovesizes only.

The door opens down towards the user and isremovable during installation or i damage occurs.Panels with simulated dry wall beaded rames are

jointed/skim-plastered and then decorated on site tomatch the colour/texture o the adjacent nish. Picturerame panels are nished semi-gloss white so require nonishing ater installation.

A 2mm gap is maintained between the door and ramethrough the adjustable hinges.

Composition and ManufactureThe welded metal rame holds a metal door traydesigned to accept the same selected ceiling tile asin the surrounding ceiling. The door is hinged via ullyadjustable concealed hinges and is held closed byeither a concealed budget lock or security key lockthat opens towards the user. The door is removableto acilitate installation o the ceiling board or i uturedamage occurs.

Panels are manuactured to suit exact tile modules,either as 600mm or as 1200mm, square or rebated(regular) edge and 24mm or 15mm wide tee gridsystems.

7 Re-clip thedoor back intoplace.
