Welcome to the 2014Waterways Ireland Events Guide

Just a few steps away from our everyday lives, Waterways Ireland give us a much-needed space where we can escape.

Next to our canals and rivers we can relax and reconnect with ourselves, our environment and the people who matter to us.

Our waterway network is an undiscovered national treasure.

Whether you’re the adventurous type and sway towards more energetic past times or you’re more at home in the pub with your favourite pint; our canals and rivers have something to offer from:

•rowingracing•fishing•hikingtrips•children’sadventures•regatta’s•artsandfestivals•wildlifeexploration•orexploringourhistorictowns

and villages along the way.
