ขอเชญสงผลงานเขารวมโครงการรางวลการออกแบบของเชยงใหม 2558

รางวลการออกแบบของเชยงใหม (Chiang Mai Design Awards หรอ CDA) เปนงานประจาปโดยเชยงใหมสรางสรรค Chiang

Mai Creative City (CCM) มวตถประสงคเพอสนบสนนและประชาสมพนธการออกแบบและนกออกแบบในแตละสาขา รางวล

การออกแบบเชยงใหมเนนการออกแบบรวมสมยมากกวาศลปะหรอหตถกรรมอยางใดอยางหนง รวมทงเพอสงเสรมผทม

พรสวรรคทางดานการออกแบบของเชยงใหมและตระหนกถงความสาคญของการออกแบบและการสรางมลคาเพม ตลอดจน

รางวลการออกแบบของเชยงใหมจดขนครงแรกในป 2555 และตอนนเขาสปท 4 แลว

ขอเชญผทสนใจรวมสมครรางวลการออกแบบของเชยงใหม 2558 (Chiang Mai Design Awards หรอ CDA 2015) โดยในปน

คณะผจดงานไดรบเกยรตจากผทรงคณวฒและผเชยวชาญจากสถาบนการศกษา ภาครฐและภาคเอกชน ไมวาจากสาขาการ

ออกแบบ สถาปตยกรรม ศลปหตถกรรม รานอาหาร นกพฒนา และการจดโครงการ ซงลวนแตเปนผทมจตอาสา ทมเทและ

เสยสละเวลาอนมคารวมเปนคณะกรรมการทปรกษาและคณะกรรมการ เพอใหผลงานทไดรบการคดเลอกเปนทยอมรบและเปนท

ประจกษตอบคคลทวไป โดยกาหนดการสมครผลงานการออกแบบเปน 6 สาขา ไดแก 1. สถาปตยกรรมและการตกแตงภายใน 2.

การออกแบบผลตภณฑ (หตถกรรม เฟอรนเจอร ผลตภณฑตกแตง เครองประดบแฟชน) 3. การออกแบบสอสมยใหม 4. การ

ออกแบบการสรางอตลกษณ 5. การออกแบบบรรจภณฑ และ 6. การออกแบบรานคา / การจดแสดงสนคา นอกจากนจะมการ

พจารณาคดเลอกมอบรางวลใหแกนกออกแบบรนใหมอกสาขาหนงดวย โดยผทรบรางวลการออกแบบของเชยงใหมประจาป

2558 จะไดรบการพจารณาและสนบสนนจากอทยานวทยาศาสตรและเทคโนโลย มหาวทยาลยเชยงใหม และศนยสรางสรรคงาน

ออกแบบ (เชยงใหม) เพอเปนการตอยอดทางธรกจดงน

- ไดรบคาปรกษาในดานการพฒนาผลตภณฑ การตลาด และอนๆ โดยไมมคาใชจาย

- พนทจดนทรรศการในจงหวดเชยงใหมหรอกรงเทพฯ

- การแสดงผลงานในเวบไซตแฮนเมด-เชยงใหม (www.handmade-chiangmai.com)

2. ผลงานจะตองมอยและจดวางใหเหนในปจจบน

3. ผลงานเปนการออกแบบรวมสมย ซงหวงเปนอยางยงวา จะเปนผลงาน / ผลตภณฑทเปนมตรกบสงแวดลอม ทงผลตภณฑ หรอแมแต

ขนตอนการผลต ในขณะทไมสญเสยคณคาและความงดงาม

4. จะมรางวลพเศษดาน Young Designer, Eco-Design และการออกแบบเพอสงคม

5. ผทไดรบการพจารณาคดเลอกจะตองใหความรวมมอในการใหสมภาษณและสามารถนาเสนอผลงานและใหขอมลเพมเตมแก

Invitation to apply for Chiang Mai Design Awards 2015

The Annual Chiang Mai Design Awards (CDA) by Chiang Mai Creative City (CCM) is an initiative that aims to promote design and

designers across a range of design categories. The CDA focuses on designs with a contemporary touch rather than pure art or craft. The

purpose of the CDA is to showcase Chiang Mai’s talent and highlight why design is important and adds value. The first Chiang Mai

Design Award was launched in 2012 and we are now entering the fourth year. More information can be found here:

This is an invitation to submit an application for the Chiang Mai Design Awards 2015. We have more than 20 Thai and international

judges as well as an advisory board – many of which are well-recognized designers, university lecturers in relevant fields, or individual

who have a professional interest in design. This year there are six broad categories: 1) Architecture & Interior 2) Crafts, furniture,

decorative Items and fashion accessories 3) New Media 4) corporate identity design 5) packaging design and 6) retail design and

merchandising display.

Selected designs will be benefiting from;

- Free consulting on further the product development, marketing, market access, etc. by TCDC and CMU STeP experts.

- Free exhibition space at an exhibition in Chiang Mai or Bangkok

- Complimentary featuring on handmade-chiangmai website (for craft and furniture products)

- Marketing and PR support in national and international printed and online media

Rules, criteria and acceptance form (must be signed)

Criteria

1. Submitted design/product must meet two out of three criteria;

- Must be designed in Chiang Mai

- Must be produced in Chiang Mai or neighbor province

- and / or must be sold, available and located in Chiang Mai

2. Product must be currently available or located.

3. Product is contemporary designed. (we also we looking for designs that are environmentally friendly (product, making process, etc.) whilst not

losing its aesthetic appeal

4. Special awards will be given for Young Designers, Eco-Design, and Design for Society/Community

Rules

5. Selected awardees must cooperate, be available for interviews and respond to questions when the judge need more product information.

6. Selected awardees give permission to taking product photos, production and owner for using on the event. All photos are copyright by CDA

Project.

7. Selected awardees must join key events in Chiang Mai particularly the awards ceremony (In case of a company, a member of the senior

management team must attend).

8. All designs must be authentic / original and the applicant must be authorized to submit this application.
