Financial Performance: The Company recorded net in-come in 2009 at IDR1.66 trillion, or decreased from IDR2.631trillion recorded in 2008.

Brief History: As a member of the Astra InternationalGroup, the company has grown and expanded into one of thelargest oil palm plantations in Indonesia. Among noteworthyevents in the course of its history since its establishment in1988 was its listing in both the Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Ex-changes in 1997, offering a total of 125.8 million shares to thepublic, as well as the issuance of corporate bonds in 2000. To-day the company is the proud owner of 188,831 hectares ofcultivated palm oil estates, accounting for 92.7% of the total203,780 hectares plantations area. The remaining 7.3% of theplantations area comprises rubber, tea, and cocoa.
