MOTORS ABB AC servo motors HDS series The HDS series has a 10 pole design which provides more torque and less cogging for superior performance. Whether your need is positioning, speed, or efficiency, HDS series provides performance and reliability. Features and options: Segmented lamination design offers a more compact winding Greater slot fill and less resistance provides increased motor efficiency Multiple feedback options available: resolver, incremental encoder (2500 ppr), and absolute encoder. Available with two separate connectors for power and feedback or one connector for both power and feedback on absolute feedback (DSL) models. IP65 rating except for the face, optional seal available for total IP65. Winding is completely encapsulated in a heat conductive epoxy resin for greater heat dissipation and protection against winding contamination Windings are rated for 155° C. Holding brake is available as an option CE/cRUus Typical applications: Cut-to-length Flying shear Machining Labeling Material handling Typical industries: Semiconductor Packaging Food and beverage Manufacturing Medical
