• My mother Helen Kahler, for believing in me when I would talk to her about ‘far-out’ ideas; ideas that she did not grow up hearing. She listened to my CDs on holistic solutions and energy healing, and even the Abraham CDs. She once told me that I was her hero. Imagine that! If she were here today, I know she would be cheering me on with taking the steps in faith that I have taken in pursuing my passion. I am positive that she is one of the angels I have over my left shoulder. (I can see them on an aura picture I had taken in Sedona). Thanks Mom!

Are you tired of how your life is going? Do you feel like life is happening to you or that your life is out of control? Do you feel like you deserve more in your life because of all the hard work you are doing, but you are not reaping the rewards? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired with the same old life circumstances? Well I have good news for you. You can be a Deliberate Creator in your life today. You can stop creating your life by default. You can consciously change anything in your life today.

I too, was like you if you answered yes to any of those questions. My life wasn’t awful, but I knew there could be more to it. If other so-called ‘ordinary’ people were changing their lives for the better, then why couldn’t I? I knew there was more out there for me, as it is for all of us. Even though my life was pretty good, I knew it could be better. A lot better. I also learned over the years that it is OK to want better in one’s life. To have a better life I had to learn how to do so and make

the necessary changes I me so I could create a better life. I took the needed steps to make those changes, even when a lot of people around me did not believe in what I was doing. (I still hear it to this day, and that’s OK because I know better.) I learned the information to guide me towards a new and improved life. (I continue to learn, and look forward to life-long learning.)

We are so far advanced in so many aspects of our life today. Technology is running wild. It’s exploding all over the place; we can barely keep up. So why are there still so many people with the mindset that they have no control over their lives? Why are so many people content in playing the victim role? We know so much more today than

ever before. We are on the Leading Edge of Thought. Researchers know that we have the ability to change our DNA. Dr. Bruce Lipton, Cell Biologist and author of, “The Biology of Belief” says “Our beliefs, not our DNA, that control our biology.” “I’m saying we are the creators of our situation. The genes are merely the blueprints. We are the contractor, and we can adjust those blue prints. And we can even rewrite them.*”

We have control over everything in our lives. That may be hard to swallow, especially is something not so good is going on in your life right now. Know this: whatever is going on in your life right now is a result of your thoughts and emotions from yesterday, last week, last month, and last year. Since your manifestations are pretty much by default, stop and take a look to see where you are in your life. Take a deep breath in and out and decide in which direction you now want to go.

With that in mind, this book is written with the intention of helping you to understand how the Law of Attraction works so you can create the life you want and deserve to have. I have been working with these principles for over 5 years now and my life has not been the same since. My life purpose is to use my enthusiasm and passion to inspire others to live their most fulfilling lives. This eBook is a small part of the book I am writing, “No Longer Creating by Default: The ABCs of Deliberately Creating Your Life.” It is my desire for everyone to create the life they love to live!

So why do you need another Law of Attraction book? Well how many Murder mysteries do you have? Or Comedies, and Rock and Roll CDs do you have? Most likely you have more than one of any particular book, movie, or CD. There are many books to help people learn about the Law of Attraction and yes, this is another one. I will give you information along with my life experiences. I have such a passion for this work and I want as many people to know about it, how to use it, and to manifest from it.

If you could create your life, what would you do? What would you create it? How would your life change? Think about all the possibilities, and feel the excitement of it! With that said, let’s get started!

One of the first things to know is that we live in a vibrational Universe. Everything is energy and everything vibrates. You are a vibrational being. Being a vibrational being, you are always offering a vibration, energy, in your waking state. Your emotions are your best guidance as to how you are offering a vibration or putting out your energy to the Universe.

Another thing to know is that thoughts are things and your thoughts have energy. How you think and feel is how the Universe will meet you, or match you. When you look at how your life is going, unless you want something to change, it will just stay the same. When you look at life as always being hard and you can’t get ahead, you are sending that energy out and the Universe can only bring you more of the same. Your life will be hard. You won’t be able to get ahead. It doesn’t matter if you are a really nice person whom everybody likes. If you have that type of thinking and feeling going on inside of you, that is where you will be met.

A lot of people still do not believe that the Law of Attraction is real. What they do not realize is they are always being met where they are in their thinking and believing. “I’m such a good person, so why are so many bad things happening to me?” When you can only notice the “bad” things happening to you, the Universe can only bring more of those things to you, especially when you expect it to be that way. You can even call yourself psychic at times because you know how things are going to be for you, and the Universe will deliver it that way for you because of how you are vibrating.

There are many Laws of the Universe. There is the Law of Gravity. People believe in this law. They can’t see it, so to say, but they can feel it when they fall down. There is electricity with the Law of Conduction and Transmission. Unless you are putting wires together to make a spark, for the most part, you don’t see electricity, but you see and feel the effects of it. Well the Law of Attraction is the same way. You see the effects of it all over the place in your life. There is also the Law of Allowing, the Law of Receiving, the Law of Polarity, and one I was just recently informed about, the Law of Diminishing Returns (thanks to John, my coach), just to name a few.

We have the capability to be, do, and have anything that we want, any time we want it. It does take some action. As Jack Canfield, “Chicken Soup for the Soul” co-author says, “In the word attraction is the word action.” We need to take some action, physical and inspired. One of our biggest actions is to get into vibrational alignment with what we want. We need to get into that feeling place of what we want. One way to get into the feeling space is to change how we are looking at the things around us. When we change how we look at them, we will change how we feel inside. When we change how we feel inside for the better, then we can start to attract more of what we want in our lives.

In the Abraham-Hick’s book, “Ask and it is Given”, it is explained, “with only a few seconds of focusing your attention on a subject, you activate the vibration of that subject within you, and immediately the Law of Attraction begins to respond to that vibration.” When you hold a thought, positive or negative, for 17 seconds you start to activate a

vibration. As you keep holding that thought totaling 68 seconds (17x4), you will attract like-minded thoughts. If you are having good thoughts, positive thoughts, then you will keep getting more good feeling thoughts. Some start to pop up from the past; some may be a positive thought about the future. The longer you can hold that thought, especially the positive ones, the more you are on your way to manifesting positive events/situations/people into your life.

The same is true for the negative thoughts. Have you ever noticed that when you get in a bad mood or become angry over something, you start remembering all kinds of bad things from the past, or even make up some bad things about the future? Do you start having an argument with someone in your head? When you keep those kinds of thoughts continuing, then you are attracting more negative circumstances into your life. It is how the Law of Attraction works. You will always attract to you what you are putting out there.

Now just to let you know there is a time buffer in most cases, unless you are in one of those energy spaces most of the time. That’s why some people manifest quickly and why other people give up and say it doesn’t work. What they don’t realize it is working for them at that moment in time, and all of the time. When you carry a certain vibration, a certain thought pattern, you will most likely manifest quickly those experiences that are in the same vibrational energy. If your thoughts are of the negative type, then you are most likely to think you have bad luck and are a victim of circumstance. Once you become aware of this, then you can start to change what and how you are thinking and feeling, and overall vibrating. Therefore, you can start deliberately creating the life you want, instead of by default. Wayne Dyer has a book, “Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life.” When you

start changing how you are thinking, your life and your circumstances will start changing. It is so true! I am living example of it, as are many other people. I always felt like I was left out of everything; that I did not fit in. I was constantly thinking, ‘What about me?’ The more I thought about it and felt that way, the more I was left out of activities and functions.

On the polar opposite side, if you are always looking at things positively and joyfully, you will manifest the good things in life much faster. Everyone will think you are a lucky person, but what you are is a vibrational match to what you want.

I wanted to give you a very basic over view of the Law of Attraction before I took you into the “ABCs of Deliberately Creating Your Life.”

~A is for Alignment~

You need to get into vibrational alignment with what you want, your desires. As written earlier, everything is energy. Our thoughts have energy. Our emotions are energy. We are living in an Energy-based Universe. In looking at getting what you want, your energy has to be in alignment with it. There has to be a match in vibration. When you say you want something but on the inside you don’t believe that you will get it, you are not a match to it, so you will not get it. Doubt and expectation have two different vibrational frequencies. You cannot manifest what you say you want when you are feeling doubtful, fearful, angry, resentful, or any other negative emotions; aka, low vibrational energies.

Sometimes I see and/or hear of someone getting what s/he wants and that person states s/he did not expect to get it. My guess is that on the inside that person was feeling more hopeful than doubtful, and because hope vibrates higher than doubt, and that’s what s/he was feeling more of (hope), so that is why s/he got the unexpected thing.

Your emotions let you know where you are vibrating. They will let you know how much you are in alignment with what you want. If you are feeling good, you are either in vibrational alignment or getting close to it. The key is to stay there as long as you can. When you are in alignment, that’s when you want to start to create in your life; to put your intentions out there. When you are in a bad mood or feeling doubtful or fearful, you will be in alignment with those kinds of

situations / people / events / circumstances. Remember, we are always vibrating and attracting to us. To be in alignment with something good, start feeling good, better, and/or great now!

The example I always see given to explain alignment is tuning into your radio. If you want to listen to a song on 97.9 FM, you will not hear it on 100.7 FM or 87 AM. The frequencies do not match. So when you want something, being in vibrational alignment with it is the way to get it. This is where people start to give up when they are looking to attract something into their lives. When it doesn’t come fast enough for them, then they say, “This doesn’t work.” Another key to the Law of Attraction and Deliberately Creating your life is staying in alignment with what you want. This is part of the action I wrote about earlier.

In getting into alignment or being in alignment requires lessoning your resistance. When you are in resistance, you are not in alignment with what you want. If you want more money but you get caught up in someone else’s conversation about the economy, unless you are devoid of emotions during the conversation, you get caught up in what is being said and therefore out of alignment with getting more money.

Everybody has a perception and a truth that is theirs. Their truth does not have to be yours. Yet we take on other peoples truths all the time. You need to be in vibrational alignment with your truth no matter what else is going on. When everyone else is getting upset over something they really cannot control at that time (except how they feel if they so choose), I encourage you to think about what you want on your life, (more money or a different job, etc.), get into the feeling of it, and allow yourself to get into alignment with it. In looking to get into alignment with it, think about how it would feel to have what you want.

Or better yet, get into the feeling of already having it. How does it feel to have it? See it, think about and feel it. Get excited that it’s coming to you. What does it feel like having it??? It feels wonderful! It feels freeing! It feels exciting! It feels incredible! How can you keep those feelings going to stay in alignment? Ask! “How can I feel wonderful/free/excited…?” Let the Universe show you and celebrate all the ways it happens to you. You get extra green lights going into work. Feel it. Someone pays you a compliment. Accept the compliment, feel it, celebrate it! When you are focused on all the little things going well, you are getting into alignment with the good things coming your way.

Now if you are looking to attract and/or create something large, then know that it may take some time to get into the alignment of that particular thing or situation. That’s OK. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that we really can have something that big and wonderful. As you are thinking about what you want, how the Universe can bring it to you, and you are getting into alignment of it, the Universe will bring it to you, better than you expected it. I always go back to Jack Canfield. Wow! Talk about getting someone like-minded into my life.

~A is for Allowing~

Asking can be the easy part. Allowing can be more difficult for some people, especially if you are someone who always feels the need to be in control; if you are someone who is used to doing everything by yourself. And with always being in control, are you making your life harder than it has to be? Are you limiting yourself in how good your life can be? In always thinking, “I’ve got to do this, that, and the other…”, “I”, “I”, “I”, isn’t that tiring? When asking for something, you need to allow the Universe time to bring it to you. As discussed earlier, you need to be in vibrational alignment with what you want. There is a time buffer, so you can think more about for what you are asking. You can get more specific about what you want. You can build your excitement about what you want, therefore getting into alignment with it. In allowing the Universe to bring your desire to you, you will get something even better than what you expected. When you sit back in the wonder of what the Universe is bringing you, you allow yourself to get in and be in vibrational alignment with your intention.

Once you put your intention out to the Universe, keep thinking about how great it is to have your desire even though you don’t have it yet. It’s acting as if. While you are doing that and keeping your focus positive, and really feeling it, you are allowing what you want to occur. As mentioned before it can take some time. But I can assure you it is worth it! Just keep going along in positive expectation or even super-excited expectation, and you will be surprised. Or should I say amazed?

(I got Jack Canfield in my life. Me, a little girl from Gardenville, and area in Baltimore, MD. Go Ravens! I just had to put that in there…lol…)

When you are allowing, you are letting go of resistance. When you let go of resistance, you can start to feel better. When you feel better, you think more positively. When you think more positively, you start getting more of what you want. When you get into allowing, so many other doors can open for you; more of which you could have ever been made aware. Can you see how it works? It can be pretty easy if you allow your emotions to guide you. If you are feeling badly about something, think about something that you know will bring a smile on your face. For me, thinking about my cats, my previous dogs, my boyfriend, eating steamed crabs, or the Ravens beating the Steelers can instantly put a smile on my face. What can you think about? Could it be your children, grandchildren, animals, favorite vacation, or favorite friends? What better feeling thought can you have to change how you feel so you can get into vibrational alignment and be more allowing in your life?

Another great way to get in a state of allowing is Meditation. When you are meditating you are completely at ease. There is not resistance. If you are new to meditation, it may take a little time while you feel at ease with it, but give it time. The benefits of meditation are worth it, and there are several. You are worth it! Start with 10 minutes per day and build from there. Make it new habit of yours. Even if you have the Monkey mind, it’s OK. Recognize it, let it go and start over. It happens.

Our minds are always thinking. Over time, it gets easier to quiet it. I will be talking more on that in M is for Meditation.

So ask yourself, “How can I be more allowing in my life?” Sometimes people do not feel as though they deserve to have the good things in their life. With those kinds of thoughts going on, they then cannot allow themselves what they want. This can be a result of limited thinking from their childhood or even just from what they chose to believe today because of someone else’s beliefs.

Other questions to ask yourself if allowing is a problem for you are: “How can I start to allow myself what I want in my life?” “How easily can I start to let go of resistance?” “How (easily) can I let go of the need to control everything all the time?” You could even ask for the removal of your resistance. You just may find a weight taken off of your shoulders when you let go of controlling everything all the time. You may even start to walk taller when you let go and allow more of the Universal help into your life. And in walking taller, you will breathe better. (That’s the nurse in me coming out.)

Allow yourself the time to learn this material. Read all that you can on the Law of Attraction. Allow yourself the time to change your thoughts and beliefs, but start changing then for the better. It starts with one thought and then another. Remember 68 seconds to attract more ‘like’ thoughts. Your whole body will start to feel better when you start to think better. In Masaru Emoto’s book, “The True Power of Water(*)”, there is a section, “Illnesses React to Negative Emotion.” He has very good information and advice there and throughout the book. He states, “The very source of my physical strength is my positive attitude.

Conversely, those who think negatively tend to become ill easily.” There are pictures to show how water reacts to positive and negative thoughts and emotions. Once you allow yourself to deliberately choose more positive thoughts, you can start to improve your health. This comes from the nurse in me who has turned Holistic. (Now I am not telling anyone not to seek traditional medicine and care. What I would like to see is a coming together of the two traditions and allowing people more choices and providing more education today for their health and well-being.)

Allow yourself to be deserving of what you want. Allow yourself an easier time of things/events/situations. Allow yourself to be happy when other people are not happy. It’s OK to be happy when someone else is not happy. Let me ask you this. How is you’re not being happy when someone else is sad helping that person out? If you allow yourself to be happy, then you can help the other person to be happy. (I’m not talking about rubbing it in someone’s face, especially if the person is despondent or along that line.) Allow yourself to feel good!

Allow yourself to be the Deliberate Creator you were born to be!

In getting what you want, especially in Deliberate Creation, you need to ask for what you want. If you don’t ask, you probably won’t get it. You may not even know what you want; you just know that you want something different. On a piece of paper dated 4/4/10, I have questions written down that I got when I was listening to, I believe Rich German’s Friday’s Daily Energizer meditation. I would ask myself these questions before meditating, any time during the day, and even at bed time. “What is waiting to be birthed into my reality?” “How can I resurrect the dream that lives in my soul?” In asking these questions I started to gain clarity which I will talk more about in C is for clarity. I still have that piece of paper with those questions on it hanging up on my bulletin board.

As I just mentioned about mediation above, I have three times when I do this particular exercise. When I first wake up in the morning before getting out of bed, I will lie there and as I am inhaling I will silently ask, “How focused can I be today?” Then I let my breath out and send the energy out to the Universe. I might ask, “How motivated can I be today in…?” whatever way I need to be motivated that particular day. Sometimes I ask, “How easy can it be today?” Yes, you can ask for your day to be easy. In asking those questions, visualize how your day can go, and feel it too.

Other questions I may ask at different times are: “How intuitive can I be today?” “How inspired can I be today?” “How successful can I be

today?” “How creative can I be today?” “How much help can I get with…?” “How much extra time can you give me?”* I love that question. It is great to ask when you need some extra time in your day. You might even ask something like, “How can I get some extra money to pay off that loan?” As a reminder, I ask the question on the inhale, silently in my mind, and then exhale it out to the Universe. When you are doing that, get out of the way and allow the Universe to show you how easy, or successful, or motivated you can be. (Or whatever for what you are asking.) Be excited about the possibilities of how the Universe can help you out. The Universe always wants to help us. We have to know what we want, vs. having idle thoughts from which to create.

Other times I ask my questions are while sitting in meditation and when I am lying down to go to sleep. In meditation I can ask, “How motivated can I be today for…?” If I am in bed ready for sleep, I can ask, “How motivated can I be tomorrow for…?” When asking the questions about, “How easy can I have it?” or “How successful can I be?” those results can happen quickly or they can require more time. We need to be in alignment with what we are asking and we need to allow the Universe the time it takes to bring those requests to us. And when we can give the time it takes, the Universe usually brings us something better than what we were asking for.

You might ask, “How can I get extra help with…?” Later on you could hear a commercial advertising what you need help with. You could even see and ad in the paper or over hear someone else talking about that particular thing with which you need help.

With “How” questions you are looking to be intuitively and/or divinely guided. You are coming from a place of ease and wonder. You are coming from a place of positive expectation and excitement of “How” the Universe is going to help you with those situations. Those questions come along with allowing which will be discussed shortly.

Some other questions that you might want to ask to help you get into the ease and flow and be intuitively guided are: “What can I do today to move forward in my life?” “How can see this situation in a different way?” That is a great question to ask if you are in a situation where you feel that someone else may be wrong in his or her actions. That question helped me out several (8) years ago when a relationship that I was in ended rather suddenly on my 40th birthday. When I asked that question, a couple of days later out of the blue, a voice came to me and said, “You would have allowed him to hold you back.” Wow! I can tell you that was intense, because it was about me, not him. My Higher Self had informed me about something that I needed to know about me, so I could stop giving my power away. If I had not asked that question and had not been given that answer, I could still be giving my power away and creating a life where I would keep looking at myself as a victim of circumstance.

We get a lot of things into our lives by default, but today I want to get things of my choosing, deliberately. When you ask for what you want it makes it much easier to get it. As you gain clarity about what it is that you want, then you can ask for it. You can even just make a statement of what you want, like I did with wanting more like-minded people in my life.

You can even journal about what it is that you want; just write it down and get into the feeling of having it. I started doing that in May of 2010 every day when I came home from work. I would sit out on my deck during the beautiful spring evenings and write how I loved working from home; how I loved waking up in the morning and meditating and exercising before starting my day; and how I was helping people out in a bigger way. I would get so excited about the possibilities of it. I could really feel it. It became a reality for me within 6 months.

When you ask questions or make a request/a statement of desire, it is like, “Your wish is my command.” The Universe will put the people into your life, situations into your life, and all kinds of opportunities and solutions in your path to bring you what you asked for, if you will take the time to see and recognize them. In the earlier stated scenario about me giving my power away, I knew deep down inside that that voice was right. I had been giving my power away for quite a while. Today I choose to stand in my power and be a deliberate creator in all areas of my life.

When an easy solution comes to you, don’t think, “Oh, I can’t do that. It’s too easy.” You then push away what you have been asking for, and continue to do it the hard way, then wonder why your situation is so hard. It is OK to have it easy in your life. I am not talking that you never have to do any work at all. It can just be a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable for you. This is why you want to change limiting thoughts and beliefs, so you can have it easier, or whatever you are looking to have: motivation; inspiration; increased creativity; or help in a particular situation.

~B is for Believing~

A belief is a dominant thought that you have had for a while. What are your beliefs? How are they serving you? Are they limiting and

holding you back from what you want and deserve in life? Can you let them go? Are they true? Are they really?

We all have our own thoughts, feelings and beliefs on every single subject that there is. It depends upon how we were raised and what we have experienced on our lives. It also has to do with how we are vibrating. Because one person believes something doesn’t mean you have to believe it. You never know what is going on with the other person vibrationally to attract whatever situation in his/her life. We all have our own truths based on what we attracted into our experience. With people staying in the ‘reality’ of how life situations are at this moment in time, how can they not believe what they see? You do not have to! The way you go about doing that is called, “vibrational reality*”. Get into the feeling of how you would like your life to be and start believing it to be that way. (I discussed this earlier with ‘acting as if’.) The sooner you can change you story to how you want it to be from how it is, the sooner you can create the life you want.

When you start to feel it and believe it, you can make it happen. Making new beliefs will start to change your environment. Life does not have to be as hard as we make it out to be. Every time you say that some situation is difficult, then that situation can only be difficult for you. If you start to look at it (and start to believe) in a different way,

“It’s getting easier all the time.” or “Wouldn’t it be nice if* this situation was easier to deal with?” Both of those statements help to lower your

resistance, therefore increase your vibration, and then the Universe can help you with making the situation easier for you.

With the “Wouldn’t it be nice if…?” statement, remember to keep it more positively focused. If you stated, “Wouldn’t it be nice if this situation wasn’t so hard?” it is definitely better than, “This is so hard.” But it still carries some resistance because of the implication of the word, “hard.” Instead, you could say, “Wouldn’t it be nice if this situation was easier to deal with?” “Wouldn’t it be nice if this situation had an easier solution?”

In getting clarity about what you want, say in a new job, the “Wouldn’t it be nice if…?” statement works very well. “Wouldn’t it be nice if I could work 30 hours/week and get full time benefits?” “Wouldn’t it be nice I had 3 weeks of vacation/year?” “Wouldn’t it be nice if I worked within 10 miles from home?” “Wouldn’t it be nice if I had weekends off?” All of those statements help you to feel better and help you to believe that they are possible.

You can, be, and have anything you want. Can you believe that? How can you start to believe that? What does it cost you to stay with your limiting thoughts and beliefs? It really is time to let go of the thoughts and beliefs of our parents and grandparents and so on. They didn’t know better in their time. We do know better today. We have put men on the moon (back in the 60’s). We have cell phones today where we can watch movies and football games (go Ravens!), and we can even watch our children from a remote camera in our homes from our phones. We can even turn off lights and adjust the heat in our house from our cell phones. If we can create all of those things and more, why in the world wouldn’t we be able to create our lives the way we

want? We already are in so many areas. So I encourage you to be more choosy and more positive about your thoughts and beliefs. I encourage you to be an example of the power that you can have to deliberately create your life the way you want it. Then you can show everyone around you how to do it.

Allow yourself the time to start changing your thoughts and beliefs. You will see some small changes initially. Heck, depending upon how much effort you put forth, you may even see big results. I know that it does take time, because it needs to become a habit. It takes 30 days to change a physical habit, like exercise. It takes 21 days to change a mental habit, like thinking more positively. Can you allow yourself the 21 days to make a positive change in yourself and your dreams? Aren’t you worth it to try it? Believe in your dreams. Believe in yourself!

Your dreams are your thoughts and beliefs. Give yourself the credit that you deserve. You may not have gotten credit before/in the past. I am giving it to you now!

And just to let you know, whatever it is that you believe, the energy of the Universe will constantly match with that, so you are always proving yourself correct.

You never really know what someone else is thinking, but when you believe a person to “be” a certain way or always act a certain way, then that is the only way that person can “be” for you. When you believe the majority of people are bad, mean, spiteful, or out to get you, then the Universe will make sure that those are the kinds of people who put in your life most of the time, if not all of the time. On the other spectrum of the scale, if you believe that people are genuinely good, helpful, kind and fun-loving, then these are the people who will be in your life most, if not all of the time.

Let me give you a personal example of how believing the wrong thing about someone becomes your truth, therefore, reinforces your belief. Earlier this year my boyfriend and I were each having negative beliefs about each other. The worst part about it was that I knew it was happening on my end, and I kept finding it very difficult to change my focus. So the more I kept with my belief about him, the more he could only be the way I believed him to be. At first I thought he would be supportive about my decision to leave nursing and pursue my Law of Attraction Life Coaching career. As time went on I was finding he was not into listening to my Abraham-Hicks CDs. We were no longer talking

about the Law of Attraction. I was finding that he wasn’t really hearing anything that I had to say. When I wanted to give him suggestions about how to look at things/situations/events differently, he would tell me ‘how things were, AND that’s just how it is.’ I would use the “Wouldn’t it be nice if…?” statements, I would journal, and I would focus on his many attributes, but I could not keep my focus. Every time we got together on the weekends or spoke on the phone, he portrayed the person I believed him to be. That was all I could see. I was totally frustrated, because like I wrote, I knew better.

As time went on he kept living up to my expectations. I believed that we no longer had anything in common, that we no longer had anything to talk about, and that we were growing apart. He kept proving me right. We were going out to dinner on Fridays after not seeing each other all week, and sitting in the restaurant instead of talking and asking me how my coaching was coming along or how I was doing, he sat there with his cell phone looking at Face Book. And again, I thought and believed, ‘we really don’t have anything in common anymore.’

Now on Brian’s part, he started to believe that I was moving so fast with all that I was manifesting that I was no longer going to be interested in him. He started believing that we were no longer having anything in common. Because I was learning so much, so fast, he was feeling like he could not keep up. So every time some new program or seminar came up, I was off to learn and discover more, so I was becoming the person who he believed I was becoming. He was seeing me not in his life anymore. (I was not seeing him in my life anymore.) He just did not realize the power of his beliefs and the power of my beliefs and how the Energy of it all was making us believe something that is not true.

It can even happen to someone who works with the Universal energies if that one does not stay positively focused and stay in deliberate creation mode

Luckily, we were able to work things out and sit and discuss what was really going on.

We are both more aware of what we want individually and together and we are both the co-creators of our lives together.

Let me ask you this. Have you ever said, “I get sick every year around the holidays”? Every time you say that it is guaranteed to happen. Because of your belief, your body cannot let you down. How about, “I never get…” (I never get a break, or get the help that I want.) “How come I always get…?” (How come I always get the hard jobs or the smallest piece of cake?) When you ask in a negative context and add a bad result that is the only way it can be. When that is your belief then you have a prime example of creating your life by default.

In my last nursing job, I worked in Wound Care. Patients would come in saying, “Every summer this wound opens back up. It’s like clockwork.” Every fall this happens to me…” They always knew that their wound would reoccur. Then I would hear them ask, “How come this happens to me?” There were so many times I wanted to explain to them about how their thoughts and beliefs were helping them to have those reoccurrences every year, but either time would not allow it or they were not open to the information. To explain it to them would take more time than was allowed for the visit. I was even called into

my nurse manager’s office where she asked me if I thought it was appropriate to talk with a patient like I was; meaning, giving him information that was based on Energy – Holistic and Universal? My answer was a definite, “Yes!”

With that particular patient I had an extra few minutes to spare and I wanted to offer him some extra information, because I knew he was ‘open’ to hearing about it. I knew this from previous discussions with him. Since he had manifested another health condition, I wanted to help in out as much as I could. With providing the information to him, he had the choice as to whether he was going to use it or not.

A way to start changing that expected (limiting) belief from occurring is to change your expectancy of the situation; to lessen your resistance in about the situation. “Wouldn’t it be nice if…?” is a great way to help you to get out of expecting and knowing that that particular event is going to happen again, as it does every year. “Wouldn’t it be nice if I stayed healthy this holiday season?” You are keeping it positively based vs. saying ‘getting sick this year’. “Wouldn’t it be nice if I could stay focused on health and wellbeing?” “Wouldn’t it be nice if I just kept my thoughts on how nice the holidays are and how much fun it is to see family and friends?” Or if you are someone who believes the holidays are a hassle and no fun at all, then the above statement will work for you too! Over time you will no longer have those situations occurring like they did every year like you could predict them to be, because you are psychic. If a situation does reoccur, stop and ask yourself, ‘what are my beliefs right now?’ What am I believing that is no longer in my best interests?

And remember, just because something happened to your aunt’s neighbor’s daughter’s cousin’s girlfriend, doesn’t mean that that particular situation is going to happen to you or that it has to be your truth. You don’t know the whole story and/or how that person was vibrating energetically to attract that situation into her life. You don’t know what kind of beliefs she has going on that help set up her circumstances.

I wrote it at the beginning, a belief is a dominant thought you have had for a while. How are your beliefs serving you? Look at where you are in your life. If you are not happy with what is going on, I recommend changing your beliefs for the better. I believed I was a victim of circumstance for a long time.

No more victim here, I am victorious today!

~C is for Celebrate~

Celebrate your life. Celebrate everything in your life and about your life. Something that I have coaching clients do is, “Celebrate the Closeness of a Match.*” How close did you come to getting what you want? Celebrate it so the Universe can bring it to you again, but the next time it can be even better than what you were originally wanting. When you celebrate you are in a high vibrational state. This is where you want to be, especially when you are looking to Deliberately create your life. You even want to celebrate the events or situations in your life that are not so favorable, the things that you do not want, because they bring you learning experiences. Celebrate the lesson. Then you get to do it over again and see how the Universe can bring you something even bigger and better.

Another aspect of celebrating is to celebrate all the upcoming events in your life. Celebrate what is to be. You are celebrating your Faith in the Universe and the Universal energies to bring you your desires. As you start to celebrate all the good coming to you, you get more to celebrate. I love saying, “Thank you for all the great opportunities coming my way.” I say this especially when I am going to a seminar or workshop because I never know who I am going to meet and how I can help the other person out, therefore, creating more good things in my life. And there are the times when I meet someone who can help me move forward in my journey.

Celebrate! Get into the feeling of it. When you celebrate you are in appreciation and joy, which are very high vibrations. If you hold that

celebratory feeling for 68 seconds or longer, you will attract more joyful thoughts and the Universe can start to bring more things into your life to celebrate. Celebrate and kick your feet up!

When you are in the feeling of celebration, appreciation, and joy there is no resistance. It is so much better for your body and your overall health. You are sending positive vibrations throughout your body. Your blood pressure improves, your posture improves, and your breathing is deeper and fuller, thereby getting more oxygen into your blood cells. Overall you just feel better, and what’s wrong with that? Nothing, absolutely nothing! So start celebrating today. It does the body good.

~C is for Clarity~

You have to be clear about what you want. Clarity is key! That’s probably another reason why people don’t believe in the Law of Attraction. If you are not clear about what you want then the Universe cannot bring it to you. You will get everything else instead, whether you want it or not.

I was looking to get out of nursing before 2005, but it wasn’t until 2005 that I actually started to look for something else to do. I really did not know what else to do or even how to go about finding out. I would say, “God, just get me out of here. I can do anything else, just not this anymore.” Well, anything and everything came to me. Herbalife, Beauty Control, Primerica, and even Dean Graziosi’s Real Estate venture came to me. While all of those particular ‘jobs’ may be something worthwhile to get into, they definitely were not for me. They were not what made my heart sing. They did not fill the passion in my soul.

Back then I was ignoring my underlying passion, so if you would have asked me what my soul passion was, I would not be able to tell you. One reason is because I did not know how it was going to occur, so I ignored it. Over time, the more I ignored it, the unhappier I became.

You don’t always have to know “How” you are going to get what you want; you just have to know what it is that you want. Sometimes in getting clear about what you want, you have to know what you don’t want. Here’s an easy exercise to help you gain more precise clarity. Get a piece of paper and fold it in half. Let’s say you want a new job.

(Earlier I did “wouldn’t it be nice if…?” in regards to a job. I’ll keep on that track.) On one side of the piece of paper write down everything in your current job that you don’t like or that you don’t want any more. You don’t want to work 50+ hours a week. You don’t only want one week of vacation. You don’t want to work weekends any more. Whatever it is that you do not want, write it down. Now that you know what you don’t want, clarity on what you do want will be easy. I want to work 30 hours/week and get full time benefits. After you write that statement down, cross out the opposite statement. I want 3 weeks paid vacation per year. I want to work closer to home. OK, how much closer? I want to work within 10 miles from my home. I want my work to be done at the end of my shift. I want weekends off. Now you have clarity about what you want instead of just saying, “I want another job.” Now the Universe knows what you want and can bring it to you. With having this information on paper, you can look at it every day and think about it and get into the feeling of having it. You can even get excited about “How” the Universe is going to bring it to you. If it takes time, allow it. Know that the Universe is bringing you something really good, if not great, awesome, or spectacular. Remember, I got Jack Canfield brought to me! Sweet!

You can now use the, “Wouldn’t it be nice ifs…?” to go along with what you have written. “Wouldn’t it be nice if I got a job working only 30 hours a week with full time benefits?” “Wouldn’t it be nice if I had a job within 10 miles of my home?” Play around with it. Have fun. Get into the feeling of it. And allow it to come to you.

When you are writing what you want, make it something that you can initially believe in too. In the beginning when you are “playing” around with this, make it believable. If you do not believe it, it will not happen. The Universe will not bring it to you and you will say, “See. This stuff doesn’t work. I knew it.” The more you do it and start to believe it; you can then make your desires bigger. It’s all a building process.

You may already have your dream job, but you may want something else in your life. Know what that something else is. And know that it is OK to want things in your life. We are meant to want things in our lives. We are expanding beings. The more we want, the more we expand. The more we expand, the more the Universe expands. If we never wanted for things in our lives, then we would not have all the modern “stuffs” in that we have today.

When we were growing up, we were scolded or told that we were ungrateful for wanting more things. Maybe as children we were a little ungrateful at times, but being children with “child” minds, we did not know any better. Neither did our parents know any better because for the most part, that’s how they grew up. It was from a place of Lack. They were in a Lack mentality. Some of our parents grew up in the Depression time or from the results of it, so that’s what they knew.

Today we know differently. When we are coming from a lack mentality, then lack or insufficiency is always there. There is never enough. There is always a concern over how much money something costs, or where the money is coming from. When we know with clarity what it is that we want, we can get into vibrational alignment and allow the Universe to bring it to us.

Another thing to do in gaining clarity about what you want, ask yourself three questions. What do I want? Why do I want it? How do I want to feel (in having it/when I get it)? It is OK to want things. It is OK to want a better and/or different job while other people are out of work. You can be grateful for the job you have, and you can still want another job.

It is OK to want more money when other people do not have enough. Having gratitude for what you have already helps you to be in vibrational alignment with abundance. It is OK for you to want another home when people are losing their homes to foreclosure. All of those people in the scenarios above are not in vibrational alignment or they have a thought and belief that took them out of alignment with what they want or with what they have. In doing so they could not keep what they had or get what they want. They are also not aware of the many Laws of the Universe.

You may even know some people that fit in the above scenario. You may even be thinking that they are such nice people and how could such a thing happen to them? It’s because of limiting thoughts, beliefs, and being in that type of vibration. As I wrote it before; we do not know what someone else is thinking. But we so know how someone is vibrating by seeing what s/he is manifesting in his/her own life.

In getting back to clarity, what do you want? Is it more money, a new car, a new home, or maybe peace of mind? If you want more money, how much do you want? The Universe could bring you 50 cents that you found on the ground or 25 cents in a raise. How much do you want? Remember; right now don’t be concerned with the “How” of it;

how you are going to get it; just be clear on how much you want. Maybe you want money to pay off a loan. How much do you need?

Why do you want it? Maybe you want to pay off a loan, pay for a class, or pay for your daughter’s wedding. Think about why you want the money. It’s OK to want the money. You have every right to want the money. You don’t have a right to get in deceitful ways. That’s not how it works.

How will it feel to get it? If you want to pay off a loan, how will it feel to pay it off? This is where you really want to get into the feeling of it, and have the clarity of your feelings too. What will it feel like to be debt free from that loan? When you get into the feeling of it, that’s where the Universe meets you. (Where have you heard that before?) When you get into the feeling place of Abundance in paying off your loan, the Universe will match you in Abundant opportunities. You could be offered a short-termed, part-time job that would give you the extra money to pay off your loan. Your bank could be offering lower interest rates on your credit card that could help you pay off your loan faster. You could even win the money. You never know how the Universe will bring you the money or the opportunity to get the money, but when you are vibrating in a good feeling place of having the money or paying off the loan, and having financial freedom, the Universe will bring it to you. Know what it is that you want and watch out, good things are coming to you.

I knew I wanted to help people; that has always been a part of who I am. After being in nursing since I was 16 years old, I really wanted something different. I had started learning Holistic and Alternative healing modalities back in the 1990s. I loved it when I was introduced

to Louise Hay’s book, “You Can Heal Your Life.” I was finding ‘traditional’ nursing and medicine not what I wanted any more. I received my certification as a Reiki Master in Usui Reiki and Second level practitioner in Karuna Reiki. I just did not see myself giving Reiki sessions all day. Life coaching had been coming into my life, but it just wasn’t hitting me at those moments in time. It would peak my interest, but then that was it. I knew I wanted to help people out in a bigger way, I just didn’t know how. I was still not listening to my inner voice, my inner passion. Mainly, because I did not know “how” I could do what I wanted to do.

In September of 2006, I was introduced to the Law of Attraction by my new friend at that time, Sharon Kay, who is also a Holistic practitioner and wonderful Shiatsu massage therapist. I fell in love the Law of Attraction. After a couple of years of “playing” around with it and getting small results (small effort/small results), I decided to “put it out there” to the Universe. I simply stated, “I want more like-minded people in my life.” I did not come from a place of neediness. (Side note-any time you are putting out a request or are intentionally creating in whatever way you chose, do it from a place of knowing and believing. If you come from neediness, you will not get the result in which you are looking.) I was just matter of fact about it and after listening to a lot of Abraham-Hicks CDs, I knew I could expect it to come about. I was getting some results in my life, but I was finally ready for bigger results. I thought about how good it would feel to be around people who thought like I did and talked like I did.

Within a month, my friend Sharon and I were hanging out again. The Quantum Success Coaching Academy came into my life. It was just what I was looking for by way of a life coaching program. It was based on the Law of Attraction. I was so excited about it. The Universe was bringing me like-minded people; and also a job that I could do too!

As I got into the class, which I highly recommend if you are looking for a Life Coaching program any you are into the Law of Attraction, I was still feeling that there was something else calling me. I was not fully listening to my inner yearning. I came to realize that Speaking was what I wanted to do. Speaking to groups of people, and putting on seminars and workshops to help people move forward in their lives was really my core passion. I thought about it all the time. When I would be gardening or cutting the grass, I would see myself in front of a group of people sharing information with them, teaching them, guiding them. This is where I was really feeling alive. The more I learned about the Universal energies and understood them a lot more clearly, the more I allowed my passion to come out of hiding.

As I got clear on what I really wanted, the Universe started to bring people and events into my life. First were Steve and Bill Harrison of Bradley Communications corp., and their National Publicity Summit. I went to New York to meet the media and to “pitch” story ideas. What in the world was I doing there? It was incredible! I thought I was going there to talk about a book I was to writing. I was there talking to ABC TV producers, NBC TV producers, Magazine writers, Radio Show producers and Literary agents. While I was there at the National Publicity Summit, another event occurred. Steve Harrison offered an opportunity to work with him, his brother, and their amazing team in their “Quantum Leap” group. At first I thought, “No way. I can’t put

anything else on my plate.” Then, as my friend Sharkie, a woman with whom I had befriended said, it was like I became possessed and levitated over to the table to sign up. I felt this feeling inside of me that I just had to sign up for Quantum Leap. (Quantum Leap has many opportunities for help in getting one’s book written, published, and ‘sold by the truckload’, for getting into public speaking, for getting into RTIR-TV Interview Radio Report, other chances to meet the media and “pitch” story ideas, and so much more). I wasn’t sure at the time, but I just knew that the Universe was opening another door for me and I had to walk through it. I really felt like I could not afford not to sign up with them.

On June 15, 2011, I got to meet and get my picture taken (several times) with Jack Canfield, “Chicken Soup for the Soul” co-author. Here was where the Universe was providing for me an opportunity to move closer into the “speaking” world, but I did not know it yet. During the day with Jack, we were offered a chance to take part in Jack’s “Breakthrough to Success” seminar in AZ. Again, I knew I had to sign up for it. I didn’t know where it was leading me, but since it had something to do with Jack Canfield, I figured it had to be good.

In getting ready to go to BTS (Breakthrough to Success), and listening to a recording of suggestions to do before, during, and after the event, I learned about Jack’s “Train the Trainer”. It’s a program where he accepts 100 people to learn how to teach his “Success Principles” from his book, “The Success Principles” to other people by way of seminars like he does. At BTS, I signed up for Train the Trainer, and after 2 interviews I was accepted.

Not only did the Universe deliver “some more like-minded people into my life”, I also received a most excellent way to get into speaking and putting on seminars. And I got Jack Canfield into my life. Once I got really clear about what I wanted the Universe was able to bring it to me. I got the Life Coaching program that I wanted and I got one of the best ways (I think) to get into speaking and putting on seminars. Once you are clear about what you want and get into vibrational alignment with it, the Universe will deliver it to you.

I had also written about “why you want it” and the “feeling of having it”. For me, in getting into speaking and conducting seminars, I wanted to help out more people in a bigger way. I wanted to make a bigger impact! Because earlier I did not know how the Universal energies and laws worked in my life, I did not know “how” I could possibly get into speaking, so I just stuffed it down inside of me. I didn’t even know what I would talk about. In getting into the feeling place of it, I started feeling the excitement of meeting Jack Canfield (back in June). Any time I started to doubt something in my life or feeling overwhelmed about a situation, I would redirect my thoughts to meeting Jack and “get into the feeling” place. It may not excite everybody about meeting Jack Canfield, but I was surely excited about it. I kept going back to that feeling place and getting excited to keep my vibrational energy up. I would think of other things as well, like how cute my cats are, but thinking about how exciting it was going to be to meet Jack Canfield kept me vibrating high up on the scale. Vibrating up high was also helping me to attract other good things in my life as well.

Can you see how clarity: what you want; why you want it; and getting into the feeling of it can bring people/events/situations into your life?

I am a Certified Law of Attraction Life Coach and an upcoming Sought After Speaker and NY Times Best-Selling Author!

Another part of clarity I want to bring up is, how much clutter do you have around you? If you have a cluttered environment, your thoughts will not be as clear, therefore you will not get the clarity you are seeking. You will be amazed in how much more clearly you will be able to think, and how you will be open to intuitive guidance, when you get rid of the “junky” stuff in your environment. Take 10-15 minutes to clean up something in your environment every day if you don’t feel like you have a lot of time to do it all at once. You could even just pick up 3-5 items and put them in their proper place, even if it’s the trash or recycle bin. This small step will really open you up to the many limitless thoughts that you are capable of having.

When I was talking to someone years ago about the Law of Attraction, I remember saying, “How can it (Law of Attraction) not be something good when the whole premise is thinking positively and feeling good, great, hopeful, joyful, appreciative and any other good feelings you want to throw in there? I don’t know about you, but I would rather feel good than bad any day. I had plenty of feeling bad in the past. Now I go for feeling Great, Awesome, Stupendous, and On Top on the World!

When you don’t know any better you don’t know that you can change your circumstances. Once you become open-minded and willing to these simple principles then your life can begin to change. And yes, you have to allow it to change. One reason people don’t allow change to occur is fear. Fear of change stops a lot of people from moving forward in their lives. Fear of the unknown stops people from going anywhere.

Being a former Wound Care nurse, I worked with many people with spinal cord injuries that resulted in paralysis. What I find today, because I have also experienced this myself is that, “Fear can be more paralyzing than a spinal cord injury.*”

A quote by Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. And we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Since Colleen was feeling stuck and trapped in a job/career that was no longer who she was, she was feeling unfulfilled in her daily life.
