2019 National Show 2019 will be our 25th ABGA National Show, and the National Show Committee is working to make it a special experience for all. Stay tuned for more details on the schedule, activities and deadlines. The ABGA is proud to announce our 2019 charity choice of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There will be T-shirts for sale, with a portion of the sale to be donated to the hospital. Be sure to join our group on Facebook that is dedicated to the National Show – 25th ABGA and JABGA National Show.

The Boer Goat Magazine The official ABGA magazine is distributed four times per year to each member. Each issue has a major focus, but it also contains information on the various aspects of raising Boer goats along with general industry information. We also acknowledge animals receiving recognition for Ennoblement, Doe of Excellence, and Sire of Merit. You will find ads from various sales and events along with a classified section. And a favorite of many members is the section of photos from around the country of members enjoying their goats. The Fall issue for Nov/Dec has been finalized for print, but there is still time to get an ad in for the winter issue that will come out in Feb/Mar. If you have an idea for an article, please contact editor@abga.org.

JABGA There is still time to get in on all the fun—Area 2 show is November 3 and Area 5 is November 17. Be sure to visit the show packet at http://abga.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/2018-2019-JABGA-Regional-Show-Rules.pdf for the rules, public speaking topics, and other guidelines for the contests. And remember—you can attend more than one regional show. We had a successful regional show in Knoxville, TN on September 29. Thank you to all the adults involved in making this possible for the youth.
