• SPANDAN, a healthcare outreach programme,

• Deployed 20 Nos. Mobile Medical Units (MMU)/Vans in rural areas

during FY 2016-17 & FY 2017-18. District covered Dhemaji,

Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Majuli & Biswanath

• NHPC has spent Rs. 11.86 Crores during FY 2016-17 (Rs. 6.43 Crore) &

FY 2017-18 (Rs. 5.43 Crore).

• During FY 2018-19, 10 No. MMUs deployed for Dhemaji, Lakhimpur &

Majuli

• During FY 2018-19, NHPC has spent Rs. 84.50 Lakh up to 27.07.2018.

NHPC has contributed 13 Crore for establishment of DarjeelingEngineering College

Major CSR Initiatives-Education• 13 nos. ITIs adopted by NHPC(J&K-7 nos,Uttarakhand-4 &

Arunachal-2).

• Rs. 2.02 Crore spent towards various up-gradation activities of ITIs

during 2014-18.

• Contributed 4.50 Cr. for infrastructural developmental works of ITI,

Chandey in Sikkim.

• Vivekanand Kendra Vidyalaya was constructed in Kolaptukar,

Subansiri Lower District, Arunachal Pradesh. Rs. 9.65 Crore has

been spent so far. Currently around 133 students are studying in the

School.
