Main Challenges during Lok Sabha Election 2014 Electoral Roll Revision

The district was communally surcharged because it was a witness of several communal riots during previous years.

It is an urbanized district so urban apathy was also a cause which make people dull towards voter registration and casting the vote.

People commitments are much higher towards local leaders of small segments like local bodies & assembly constituencies. People show less interest in the voter registration process before Parliamentary Election.
