File RequirementsYou may submit print ready ads through postal mail on CD, or via email up to 20mb. If your ad & additional files are larger than 20mb, please use a third party resource such as HighTail.com or WeTransfer.com to deliver your files via email to production@horsedigests.com.

We accept the following file formats: PDF, EPS, TIF, JPG. Please embed or outline all fonts. Resolution must be 300dpi and color format CMYK. Design services are not included in our ad rates, but are available upon request at an additional charge.

All advertising in Performance Horse Digest will be seen in print as well as our online (digital) publication – which is featured on our websites, delivered in a monthly email newsletter to over 400K opt-in subscribers, and shared across our social media platforms. *If you’d like your ad in the digital publication to link to your website there is an additional $20 charge. PAYMENTSA completed and signed Insertion Order is required for all advertisers. Payment in advance is required for all one-time advertising. Contract advertisers (3/6/12-time) will be billed monthly thereafter. Repeat ads will be accepted only upon payment in full for previous month’s ad. Entire contract must run for 12 months to qualify for frequency discount rate. MasterCard, VISA, Discover, AMEX, and PayPal are accepted. All prices subject to change without notice. Canadian and foreign contracts must be payable in U.S. funds.

APPROVALS & CONDITIONSAll offers to place advertising are subject to the publisher’s approval. Acceptance of advertising will be made in accordance with the published rates and terms in effect at the time of the order and the publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on the order blanks or copy instructions when such conditions conflict with the regulations set forth in the rate card.

CANCELLATIONSCancellations received before deadline will be entitled to full credit towards the fulfillment of your contract. Insertions (with print ready copy) that are cancelled after deadline and before printing will be charged 50% of the cost of the ad.

PREFERRED POSITIONSPHD strives to honor advertisers’ requests for ad placement within the publication. However, all advertising orders directing insertion on a “position or omit” basis cannot be accepted. Some special positions are available at a premium.

PRESS RELEASES & EDITORIALPHD encourages our advertisers to submit press releases and stories about new products and services. Deadlines are generally two months prior to the month of publication. All press releases are subject to the publisher’s approval. Submitting a press release does not guarantee it will be printed.
