I live in Ohio but once a year I drag my family, camper and dirt bikes/quads to the desert in Southern California for a week or so to camp and ride. What I like about your magazine the most is, reading it reminds me of being there. It makes me feel like I”m part of the off road community out there. I have patronized some of the businesses in your magazine. - Mike, Englewood OH

I love that you always take us off the beaten path, and that you feature amateur riders. It’s nice to open up a magazine and have it’s contents be real and reachable for the average rider. - Meegan, Santee CA

You guys are people we can all relate to; and you publish news and events that we all can identify with. - Dan, Poway CA

Local and amateur coverage side by side with national and international coverage! AND the printed medium! - Erek, Oxnard CA

Your attentiveness, I mean we email you and you pretty much get back to us immediately. - Joseph, Rio Rancho NM

About us...

Thundering Trails was founded by Steve & Sherri in 2006 to provide mini bike riding adventures for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. Kids come to camp for free and spend the weekend having a blast with mini bikes, hiking, campfire, treasure hunts, games, chapel service, s’mores, great food and just hanging out with dedicated adult mentors. Many of the kids have a parent in prison, some are living in shelters, some have parents on drugs and others come from low income single parent homes. The camp is operated on the 50-acre off road ranch in Ocotillo Wells owned by Steve & Sherri. Approximately 4-8 times a year during the months of October through April a group of 10-12 kids come to camp for a fun-filled weekend desert adventure. Thundering Trails is a California non-profit corporation and all donations are extremely welcome and tax-deductible. For more information or to make a donation visit www.thunderingtrailsoffroadcamp.org or to see hundreds of camp photos visit www.facebook.com/thunderingtrails

Our off road vehicle collection over the years has included motorcycles, quads, buggies, short course cars and four wheel drives.
