Sharon Cooling Tower company was established by Eli Sharon in 1978.From that date, the company has built and maintained hundred of cooling towers in Israel and around the world in many sectors including commercial, institutional and industrial. Sharon Cooling Tower company is the largest company for cooling towers fabrication built in Israel.

In addition to manufacturing of towers, our company has a service department. We service towers of all models found in Israel and overseas.The service department consists of trained staff to treat malfunctions, provide annual service, parts replacements, balancing assessment, noise assessments and maintenance.

Water Distribution SystemOur cooling towers are Counter-flow and Cross-flow. Counter-flow is designed to be forced flown in the pipe and the water distribution system is made of PVC. Cross-flow is designed that the water will be spilled freely by nozzles from a water trough and the distribution system is made of Fiber Glass.

Drift EliminatorThe drift eliminator is made of RPVC layers manufactured by BRENTWOOD USA. The drift eliminators are the elements which prevent the pulverized water droplets – pushed or pulled through filling material escaping from the cooling tower and they minimize the water loss. There are few types of drift eliminator used in our cooling towers. For high temperatures, special eliminators made of polypropylene can be used.

NozzleOur cooling towers contain various types of nozzles made of polypropylene, which suit each unique cooling tower. The nozzles are the elements, which provide even distribution of water on the filling material.

COPPER HEAT EXCHANGER Sharon cooling towers Ltd specializes in manufacturing closed circuit cooling towers with copper heat exchanger located inside the tower and made entirely of cooper. Copper coil tubing as well as dents and welds are standard L and stand under water pressuer of 8 atmospheres and Freon gas pressure of 32 atmospheres. Heat exchanger designed to cool Freon gas and water for conditioning units and industrial machinery.The heat exchanger installed in all NPA-W, NPB-W, NPC-W, NP-W models.

MotorIn NP and NPC model, the motor are IP66 and they are placed in the fan cabin. The fan cabin is made of epoxy painted sheet metal. As the fan is located at the side of the tower, it gives ease for operation and maintenance. All our model towers are single speed. Upon customer request motor with two-speed or variable-speed (with frequency converter) can be supplied. Motors are IP55 isolating class.

Drive ShaftIn NP-G and NR-G models with drive shaft, the motor is placed at the side on top of the tower and the gear box is placed under the fan. A drive shaft is used between the motor and the gear box. The drive shaft is torque shaft with elastic coupling. This system is preferred in our bigger models which give ease for maintenance.

Gear BoxIn NP-G and NR-G models towers, gear box is used. In systems with drive shaft, the gear box is single-speed, helical geared and horizontal in-vertical out.

Filling MaterialsPVC Film The fillings are made of thermoformed RPVC layers manufactured by BRENTWOOD USA, to obtain maximum cooling surface and minimum air resistance. PVC film type fillings are suggested where total suspended solid is between 20-100ppm and the water does not tend to the formation of lime. This filling is resistant against chemical effects. Their effective heat transfer coefficient is very high. This filling made of PVC material is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 52 degrees Celsius without damage. There is also a special profile PVC filling which can be used where total suspended

solid is up to 200 ppm.There are various types of filling. Our experiences provide us with the tool to handle and maintain these various fillings.

PP Bigudi Type FillPolypropylene Bigudi fillings are preferred in medium dirty water, where the environment is dirty and dusty, where the total suspended solid is considerable and the water tends to the formation of lime. This filling, made of polypropylene material, is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius without damage. This filling is easy to use and clean.

FanIn certain cooling towers axial fans are used. In NPC model, the fan is located at the side of the tower. The fan blades are of plastic, aluminum and fiber glass material. In NP/NR /NR-G and NP-G model the fan is placed at the top of the cooling tower.

Centrifugal BlowersSharon Water Cooling Tower Ltd are experts at manufacturing towers with centrifugal blowers that omit low sound levels. These blowers are used for structures that are located on residential areas such as hospitals and hotels that require a lower sound level from all systems. The materials used include Stainless Steel and Galvanized metal. In our NPB models the blowers are located on the side of the cooling towers and in NPA models the blowers are located at the bottom of the tower.
