The challenge
Hossam Khalil, Online Platform Manager at Vodafone Germany, recently
approached Clearvision for Basic and Advanced JIRA Training.
‘A few months ago, our department adopted JIRA as a collaboration
tool. As a part of my role profile, I was handed the responsibility of
establishing an ITIL based process and operation planning. Since JIRA is
my department’s strategic tool, I found myself in need of training to fulfil
my job using JIRA to its utmost potential [...] and Clearvision was by far,
the best training Vendor I found.
We needed the proper knowledge and training to explore it fully. We
knew that JIRA could provide us with the basic operation cornerstones
that we required, we just needed a little help setting it up [...] such as:

The results
According to Hossam, the organisation has seen “a significant increase in
awareness of the application JIRA” as well as “a clearer understanding of
how Vodafone can use JIRA in building operation interfaces.”
Since the training, the team works in a more efficient manner and the
communication between different department is considerably more
effective. JIRA has been implemented successfully within the company and
Vodafone is already looking forward to upgrading to the latest available
version of JIRA.
At Vodafone Germany, JIRA is being used by more than 300 users and so far
it has been a very successful experience.
Next steps
Clearvision is looking forward to working with Hossam and Vodafone again
in the future. The next project will explore upgrading to JIRA 7.
