Nel 1982 grazie al genio intuitivo di Rocco Cilenti e i suoi partner di allora, nasce Panther S.p.a., un’azienda Italiana che in pochi anni si afferma leader nel mercato Nazionale e In-ternazionale nella produzione di scarpe sportive iniettate di alta qualità, e, pioniere nel

settore delle scarpe da lavoro alla fine degli anni 90 lancia una nuova linea di calzature di sicurezza iniettate. L’eccellente design, la straordinaria affidabilità ed il comfort imbattibile, sono da sempre caratteristiche fondamentali dei nostri prodotti e un team dinamico, altamente qualificato garanti-sce i massimi standard di lavoro, secondo le normative europee vigenti ISO 9001.Tra il 2005 e il 2010 il marchio Panther viene sostituito con Aboutblu che successivamente di-viene anche la ragione sociale, da marzo 2013 Aboutblu è uno dei marchi all’interno di Panther: “….l’esperienza maturata in questi 30 anni e più di 100.000.000 di paia di scarpe vendute, dimo-strano che la nostra è un’azienda solida, affidabile, al passo con il tempo e oggi, a poco più di 30 anni dalla fondazione, abbiamo deciso di ripristinare il nome originale “Panther” e riprendere così il percorso iniziato con successo da mio padre, con l’obiettivo di far conoscere con orgoglio il MADE IN ITALY delle nostre collezioni in tutto il mondo”.

From March 2013 ABOUTBLU, is one of the brands within the company Panther: “.... the experience gained in these 30 years and more than 100 million pairs of shoes sold, show that our company is solid, reliable , in step with time and today, more than 30 years af-ter its foundation, we have decided to restore the original name “Panther” and resume the path so successfully begun by my father, we are proud to let people feel and touch the “MADE IN ITALY” of our collections worldwide“.

Depuis Mars 2013 ABOUTBLU est devenu une marque de la société Panther: “....l’expérience acquise lors de ces 30 années avec plus de 100 millions de paires de chaussures vendues, démontrent que notre société est fiable, solide et en phase avec son temps et aujou-rd’hui, plus de 30 ans après sa création, nous avons décidé de restaurer le nom original “Panther” et de reprendre le parcours initié avec succès par mon père, avec comme objectif de faire con-naître, avec fierté, le MADE IN ITALY de nos collections dans le monde entier“.

Panther, oltre ad essere certificata ISO 9001, nel 2013 ha ottenuto la certificazione CSA per il mercato Canadese, inoltre, tutti gli articoli presenti nel catalogo sono conformi allo standard UNI EN ISO 20345:2012 richiesto dagli stati membri dell’Unione Europea da Luglio 2012.

The quality control performed at the end of each production process and the continuous contact with certification institution ensure the highest standards of certification. Panther, as well as being ISO 9001 certified in 2013 has been certified by CSA for the Canadian market. In addition, all the items in the catalogue are in accordance with the UNI EN 20345:2012 requi-red by Member States of the European Union from July 2012.

Le contrôle qualité effectué à la fin de chaque processus de production et le contact per-manent avec l’organisme de certification garantissent les plus hauts standards de certi-fication. TEPORL’innovazione consiste nel fatto che la quantità di sudore trasportata verso l’esterno è proporzionale alla quantità di su-dore prodotta dal piede: più si suda più la membrana si attiva. Inoltre è rilevante l’elevato grado di elasticità: infatti grazie alla sua struttura non porosa la membrana è estremamente estensibile (fino al 300%) ed è sottilissima (solo 15 micron).

The innovation consists in the fact that the amount of sweat transported to the outside is proportional to the amount of sweat produced by the foot: the more you sweat the more the membrane is activated. Also relevant is the high degree of elasticity: in fact, thanks to its non-porous membrane it is extremely extensible : up to 300%, and it is very thin (only 15 microns).

Abbiamo realizzato POWER CAP, un puntale in multistrati di fibra di vetro e gomma, super leggero in grado di pro-teggere il piede dalla caduta di oggetti, diminuendo allo stesso tempo la fatica. EPAUn corps électrostatiquement chargé dans des conditions nor-males tend à décharger de l’électricité statique, et durant ce pro-cessus plus ou moins rapide il peut causer des dommages où interférer avec des objets environnants. En particulier, il peut en-dommager tout dispositif sensible au phénomène électrostatique (ESDS) ayant un seuil de sensibilité peu élevé. Par conséquent, dans des situations critiques, le courant statique doit être gardé sous contrôle afin de protéger les instruments, ou bien même le produit fini.

Les situations les plus critiques courantes sont les suivantes :risque de flamme en présence de combustible ou comburant (poussières inflammables, vapeurs se substances inflammables, etc…)• possibilité d’attraction accidentelle de deux matériaux avec si-

tuation de danger ou de dommage• quand, durant la production ou l’utilisation de composants élec-

troniques, l’électricité statique peut créer une interférence ou en-dommager; et dans tous les cas lorsque vous opérez avec des dispositifs ayant un seuil de sensibilité bas

• dans des environnements protégés contre les charges électro-statiques (EPA).

L’utilisation d’un dispositif spécifique de protection contre les ESD (décharges électrostatiques) tel que vêtement de travail, chaussu-re de sécurité, etc…, est prévue dans les situations listées.Les chaussures anti-ESDS, appelées chaussures EPA avec étiquet-te CE insérée, sont des équipements de protection individuelle, mais avec une meilleure capacité de dissipation de charge élec-trostatique et répondant aux caractéristiques requises pour les environnements EPA.

IMPORTANT: LES CHAUSSURES NE DOIT PAS ÊTRE UTILIZÉ PAR

LES ÉLECTRICIENS ET LES OPÉRATEURS QUI SONT EN CON-

TACT AVEC DES CONDUCTEURS DE COURANT ÉLECTRIQUE.

ESD-SCHUTZZONEN (EPA)Ein elektrostatisch aufgeladener Körper neigt normalerweise dazu, seine statische Eletrizität an die Umgebung abzugeben und dieser mehr oder weniger schnelle Vorgang kann die Arbei-tsweise von sich in der Nähe befindenden Geräten beeinträch-tigen oder diese sogar beschädigen. Im Besonderen sind davon vor allem elektrostatisch sensible Geräte mit einer niedrigen Pegelschwelle betroffen (ESDS). Daher muss in kritischen Si-tuationen die elektische Entladung kontrolliert werden, um das Endprodukt oder etwaige elektronische Komponenten zu schüt-zen.

Die am häufigsten auftretenden kritischen Situationen sind:• Unkontrollierte Entzündung von brennbarem Gas oder Ähnli-

chem (brennbare Staubpartikel oder Dämpfe etc.)• Unerwünschte Anziehung zweier Materialien, die Gefahr oder

Schaden verursacht• Wenn die elektrostatische Aufladung bei der Herstellung oder

Verwendung von elektronischen Komponenten Interferenzen oder Beschädigungen verursachen kann, oder überall dort, wo elektrostatisch sensible Geräte mit einer niedrigen Pegel-schwelle zum Einsatz kommen

• Innerhalb von ESD – Schutzzonen Bei den angeführten Punkten ist der Einsatz von spezifischen ESD-Schutzvorrichtungen vorgesehen, darunter ESD-gerechte Bekleidung und Sicherheitsschuhe.Die antistatischen, ESD-gerechten Sicherheitsschuhe, mit CE-Ektikette EPA versehen, bieten individuellen Schutz mit erhöhter Fähigkeit zur Ableitung und entsprechen den Anforderungen in ESD – Schutzzonen.

EPAUn corpo elettrostaticamente carico, in una situazione di nor-malità, tende a scaricare l’elettricità statica ed in questo proces-so più o meno rapido, può arrecare danno o interferenze alle cose circostanti. In particolare, possono essere influenzati tutti quei dispositivi sensibili ai fenomeni elettrostatici (ESDS) con una bassa soglia di sensibilità. Quindi nelle situazioni critiche, la corrente statica deve essere tenuta sotto controllo per sal-vaguardare le strumentazioni oppure lo stesso prodotto finito.

Le situazioni critiche più comuni sono:• Possibilità d’innesco di fiamma a causa della presenza di com-

bustibili e comburenti (polveri infiammabili, vapori di sostan-ze infiammabili, ecc.);

• Possibilità di attrazione accidentale fra due materiali con si-tuazioni di pericolo o danno;

• Quando, nella produzione e nell’utilizzo di componenti elettro-nici, l’elettricità statica può creare interferenze o danneggia-menti ed in ogni caso quando si opera con dispositivi sensibili ai fenomeni elettrostatici con una bassa soglia di sensibilità;

• All’interno delle aree protette dalle scariche elettrostatiche (EPA).

Nelle condizioni elencate è previsto l’uso di dispositivi specifici di protezione alle ESD, tra cui indumenti protettivi anti –ESDS (abbigliamento, calzature ecc…)Le calzature anti-ESDS, chiamate calzature EPA dall’etichetta inserita, sono sempre dispositivi di protezione individuale con marcatura CE, ma con maggiore capacità di dissipazione della carica elettrostatica, e rispondono alle caratteristiche per l’uti-lizzo nelle aree EPA.

IMPORTANTE: LE CALZATURE EPA NON DEVONO ESSERE

USATE DA ELETTRICISTI ED OPERATORI CHE LAVORANO A

CONTATTO CON CONDUTTORI DI CORRENTE ELETTRICA.

EPAAn electro-statically charged body in normal conditions tends to discharge static electricity and during this more or less ra-pid process, it could cause damage to or interfere with objects nearby. EDILIZIA E CARPENTERIAEsiste un notevole numero di rischi legati alla sicurezza quando si la-vora in ambienti altamente pericolosi, come l’edilizia. L’industria delle costruzioni conta un’elevata percentuale di infortuni sul lavoro, che, per lo più, sono riconducibili a scivolate e cadute da impalcature, da cattive condizioni atmosferiche e da luoghi di lavoro non in sicurezza. Per affrontare questi incidenti, abbiamo sviluppato diverse suole con incredibili prestazioni di aderenza, che possono essere usate sia per ambienti interni che per ambienti esterni; queste suole hanno diver-si battistrada che, adattandosi al terreno, le rendono estremamente versatili e pratiche. BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTIONThere are a great number of safety hazards working in highly dange-rous environments like building and construction. The industry alone accounts for a large percentage of work accidents which are mostly related to slipping and falling from scaffolding, poor weather condi-tions and an untidy workplace. Per aiutare a proteggere l’utilizzatore da questo tipo di pericolo, siamo orgogliosi di presentare NEMBO, uno stivaletto espressamente studiato con una suola ad elevata resistenza elettrica, in grado di isolare l’utilizzatore da elettricità viva. To help protect workers against such threats, we present NEMBO, a ankle boot expressly designed with a di-electric sole able to insulate the wearer from exposed electricity. ESR/Di-electric foo-twear should be standard attire for electricians, however it is very frequent to find that even those exposed continuously to electrical hazards in the working environment use the wrong product!Anti-static footwear provides a level of protection against electrical hazard si-tuations (wall sockets not high voltage) but not as great as Electrical Hazards footwear.ESR/Di-electrical footwear provides the greatest potential protection against electrical hazards. NEMBO is tested for Electrical Shock Resistance (ESR) against CSA Z195-09 standards. AMBIENTI FREDDILavorare in ambienti freddi può essere non solo rischioso per la salute, ma può anche rappresentare una minaccia per la vita. È fondamentale che il corpo sia in grado di mantenere la temperatura corporea attorno ai 37° C. Abbiamo realizzato calzature di sicurezza altamente innovative per chi lavora nel settore dello stoccaggio a basse temperature, per chi confeziona la carne ed il pesce, per chi rimuove la neve, per gli uomini delle linee di telecomunicazione e per chi in generale lavora in ambienti molto freddi. Il meccanismo corporeo per generare calore deve affronta-re la sfida che si presenta con le basse temperature, il vento e l’umidità: questi sono i tre maggiori inconvenienti negli ambienti freddi. Gli stivali in pelle pieno fiore sono realizzati con pelliccia agnellata e dotati di suo-letta removibile in feltro e alluminio per assicurare un’elevata protezione dal freddo in ambienti di lavoro caratterizzati da temperature sotto lo zero. La tecnologia della suoletta HEAT COMFY isola il piede dal freddo mantenendolo ad una temperatura costante e assicurando quindi la cir-colazione del sangue in tutto il corpo. La pelle è resistente all’acqua, ma al contempo garantisce una rapida traspirazione in condizioni esterne estremamente rigide.

COLD ENVIRONMENTSWorking in cold environments can be not only hazardous to your health but also life threatening. It is critical that the body is able to preserve core body temperature steady at + 37°C. We have realized highly innovative safety footwear for cold storage workers, meat packers, snow removers, telecommunication lines men and refrigerated warehouses. The body’s mechanism for generating heat, its metabolism, has to meet the chal-lenge presented by low temperature, wind and wetness – these are the three major challenges of cold environments, therefore making it a high risk safety concern. Our leather fleece lined lamb’s wool boots with re-movable felted-aluminum insoles are best suited for strenuous work in the cold. Our HEAT COMFY insole technology will insulate the foot and maintain a constant temperature to ensure blood circulation throughout the body. The leather is porous, allowing the boot to breathe and perspi-ration to evaporate quickly while staying completely water resistant in those harsh outdoor conditions.

MILIEUX FROIDSTravailler dans des milieux froids peut non seulement être néfaste pour la santé mais aussi représenter un réel danger de mort. Les basses tem-pératures, le vent et l’humidité sont les 3 défis majeurs imposés par les milieux froids que doit vaincre le corps pour conserver une tempéra-ture de 37°C. Nous avons élaboré des chaussures de sécurité haute-ment innovantes pour les opérateurs qui évoluent dans des ambiances extrêmes telles que les abattoirs, les stockages frigorifiques, les lignes de télécommunication et les voies publiques (déneigement,…) en période hivernale. Les bottes en cuir ont une fourrure en agneau, une premiè-re de propreté HEAT COMFY amovible en feutre et en aluminium pour bien protéger le pied contre le froid dans les milieux où la température est nettement inférieure à zéro. Elle conserve une température constante ce qui favorise la circulation du sang dans tout le corps. Le cuir poreux garantit une excellente respirabilité et une évacuation rapide de la tran-spiration tout en restant totalement hydrofuge dans un environnement de froid extrême.

Unsere Stiefel aus Vollrindleder sind mit Lammfell gefüttert und mit herausnehmbaren Sohlen aus Filz und Alluminium ausgestattet, um bestmöglichen Schutz vor der Kälte bei Ar-beiten unter Null Grad zu bieten. Die Technologie der Innensohle HEAT COMFY isoliert den Fuß vor der Kälte und hält die Temperatur konstant, so wird die Blutzirkulation im ganzen Körper nicht beeinträchtigt. Das Leder ist wasserfest und garantiert gleichzeitig eine optimale Atmungsaktivität bei extremen äußeren Bedingungen.
