The Rt. Hon Raila Odinga is Prime Minister of Kenya and one of the most inspiring and enigmac policians in the country. Raila has fought for the rights of the common Kenyan, with an exceponal ability to think outside the bounds of Kenya's tribal polics. His story starts at 15 when he le home to aend school and eventually returned to Kenya with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. Following on his father's footsteps he startedhis career in polics early a start which has proved anything but smooth! Young,Young, commied to democracy and the rule of law, he became an example of the infamous and repressive detenon without trial. Twice. Now a mature and controversial figure he is being cast both as a noble warrior fighng for democracy, transparency and accountability, and as a desperate adversary who would stop at nothing to achieve his polical ends. NeverNever compromising his principles Mr. Raila Odinga is indeed a leader of many generaons. During his tenure as prime minister of Kenya he has been largely associated with the prime ministers round table through the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). KEPSA and the Prime Minister meet on a quarterly basis, to discuss naonal polices and strategies of concern to the private sector, and agree the way forward. These quarterly meengs provide an opportunity for the private sector to engage the Prime Minister himself, and as the Coordinator of the Ministries , to amplify private sector issues, and review government progress on the establishment of an enabling business environment and the implementaon of reforms. Mugo Kiba is said to be always the smartest guy in the room ever since he was about six and now, quite frequently wins awards with tles beginning mostly with the word “Young”. He is accustomed, in addion to being the best, also to being the youngest of whatever peer group he is excelling amongst.

He was the student chair of his faculty at the Massachuses Instute of Technology (MIT)and worked as a Congressional Intern; he is the youngest person ever appointed to the posion he now holds and he has just won theYoung Global Leader 2008 award.

AerAer living in USA and challenging the boundaries of western educaon at M.I.T. he chose to come back to Kenya and nabbed a job as East African Cables’ Group Chief Execuve Officer. And he didn't stop there as he is now challenging an enre naon as General Director on Kenya Vision 2030. LikeLike any born leader Mugo Kiba wants to build a new society, and his version is based enrely on merit. He has a burning passion to make ours a society in which the best rise, no maer their background, gender, economic condions, creed, color etc. It is not so surprising, considering his own life, but what oen goes unsaid in lisng his many achievements is how strongly he feels about the need to inoculate moral courage and posive, acve social engagement. As Director of Kenya Vision 2030, he is transforming Kenya into a “middle-income country providing a high quality life to all its cizens by the year 2030”. HeHe is a man of doing things, he is a man in a hurry to excel and to find and promote excellence in all he does. He will be sharing more on what his work at the Vision 2030 delivery board entails and what it will translate to in terms of business opportunies in Kenya.

Mr. Seni Adetu is a successful business man. Aer working for 14 years in companies like Coca-Cola and Heineken, having global opportunies and numerous ways to 'step out of Africa', he choose to keep challenging East Africa markets and bring them to another level. Mr.Mr. Adetu received all his degrees from Lagos University in Nigeria: B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Ph.D. and M.B.A. but his career outgrew the county boundaries. He has been Group Managing Director of East African Breweries Ltd since July 2009 and before that he served as Managing Director of Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL). He worked in various markets across Africa including Kenya and Ghana gathering a wide experience and understanding of the connents business environment. Mr.Mr. Adetu and his team have been recognized within and outside Diageo for their achievements and more – including Most Celebrated Business in Diageo Internaonal (2008), Best Sales Force in the on-and-off trade within the beverage sector in 2009 and top four placing in the Ghana Most Admired company index consistently in the last 3 years (GIPC/PWC).
