ABSTRACT The issue of “Al-Mohkam Wal-Motashabeh” arises enriching

controversy among fundamentalists and Quran scholars, and it reveals levels of reception in their apprehension for Quranic text through mental argument and religious text- to achieve awareness of the text through time motion, that is, the text in history.

The research studies this issue between fundamental reception which –in essence- depends on syntactic reading and reciting for Ayet Al-Mohkam Wal-Motashabeh in Soret AL Imran (Ayeh 7) and Sofi interpretation which basically depends on the sufficiency of the text, taking Quran as a whole

linguistic unit that exemplifies one existional fact whatever its various phases in realty, mind and history.

In addition, the research tries to investigate dialect of ambiguity and exposition of Quranic text, which embodies more profound dialect between awesome and beauty, mind and faith. Moreover, it tries to reveal the instant of interpretation as a surmise moment as Martin Heidegger concluded, while Hans Gadamer believes that moment springs out of the self of the receptionist/the interpreter, through a series of successive inheritance from an age to another, which in turn exemplifies the dialect between past and the present about the text.
