ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF MARKETING MIX PERFORMANCE FOR LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COFFEE SHOP BRANDS IN MALL BOEMI KEDATON By SILFIANA LIEBERTO The aims of this research is to arrange appropriate marketing mix recommendations and determine the level of importance and performance of the attributes that affect customer satisfaction for the coffee shop’s marketing mix of international and local brands at Mall Boemi Kedaton. The local brand coffee shop is El’s Coffee and the international brand coffee shop is Starbucks. This research used survey method and the data from the survey was tabulated and served as tables and charts then analyzed by descriptive analysis and importance performance analysis using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The variables observed in this research were product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. Starbucks’ marketing mix performance is better than El’s Coffee’s. Starbucks only has 3 attributes that need to be completed in the first quadrant, while El's Coffee has 6 attributes that need to be completed in the first quadrant.

The aims of this research is to arrange appropriate marketing mix recommendations

Starbucks has 13 attributes that need to be maintained in the second quadrant, and

El's Coffee has 10 attributes that need to be maintained in the second quadrant.

ABSTRAK

EVALUASI KINERJA BAURAN PEMASARAN COFFEE SHOP BRANDINTERNASIONAL DAN LOKAL

(Studi Kasus di Mall Boemi Kedaton)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun rekomendasi bauran pemasaran dan

mengetahui tingkat kepentingan serta kinerja atribut-atribut yang mempengaruhi

kepuasan konsumen terhadap bauran pemasaran coffee shop brand internasional

maupun lokal di Mall Boemi Kedaton. Brand lokal pada penelitian ini adalah El’s

Coffee dan brand internasional adalah Starbucks. Penelitian ini menggunakan

metode survei dan data hasil survei ditabulasi serta disajikan dalam bentuk tabel

dan grafik, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan importance

performance analysis menggunakan Statistical Product and Service Solution

(SPSS). Variabel yang diobservasi pada penelitian ini adalah produk, harga,

tempat, promosi, orang, proses, dan bukti fisik. Hasil dari kinerja bauran

pemasaran Starbucks menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan El’

Coffee. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Starbucks hanya memiliki 3 atribut yang

perlu ditingkatkan kinerjanya pada Kuadran I, sedangkan El’s Coffee memiliki 6

atribut yang harus ditingkatkan kinerjanya pada Kuadran I. Starbucks memiliki

13 atribut yang harus dipertahankan kinerjanya pada Kuardran II. El’s Coffee

memiliki 10 atribut yang harus dipertahankan kinerjanya pada Kuadran II.
