Abstract of Papers:-

In 2007, 60% of subsea pipeline in Malaysia are unpiggible and almost impossible to inspect

by commonly available ILI tools. Some of subsea pipeline inspections of unpiggible pipelines

are done by using temporary launcher and auxiliary pumping to run ILI tool, which often

very costly even for simply short pipeline.

This paper is about sharing of PCSB experience in application of touch-less pipeline

inspection tool for unpiggible pipeline and its methodology used for pipeline integrity

assessment.

This paper will also share update on the latest technology development and research

program for touch less inspection for subsea pipeline.

• No special preparation is required (no pipe cleaning, no launcher/receiver, no excavation and no disruption on products delivery).
