Abstract Quadruple Magnets Tuning Tsyganov Aleksandr, Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Russia The tuning of quadruples within the production cycle of BINP is described. The procedure of preliminary adjustment harmonics with bronze inserts between the poles and fine tune with a nose pieces on the poles is shown. The relationship the geometric parameters of these elements with the quality of the magnetic field are presented. The main conclusion - except an understanding of what determines the quality of the magnetic field of quadruples the need for quick and precise measurement for the successful tuning and production magnets.

After the final adjustment of nose pieces made pinning them. Pinning is a mechanical operation with a some effort on the nose pieces and pole. Therefore need to glue nose pieces.This operation can last up to an hour, the time to start curing epoxy glue.Performed on the magnet without water with a temporary electricalswitching on a coils and at low current (40A)
