ABSTRACTThe application of science and technology Program Implementation through institute of Halu Oleo Universitys society service with activities coaching to Senior High School Physics Teachers in Kendari City in developing learning device physics-based model of the Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation to teach critical thinking skills. In an effort to improve the competence of physics teachers, to manage the quality learning until science and technology specially can helping them to overcome the limitations of laboratory equipment or KIT contextually Physics to teach abstract concepts of physics. As for the target audience of this science and technology activity is high school physics teachers in Kendari, amounting to 20 people and are selected proportionally from 10 senior high schools in Kendari City. The method used in the form of modeling the concept of Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation briefly, followed by the initial training and advanced training, discussion, question and answer, and the provision of independent tasks to make the PhET Simulation-based learning to teach critical thinking skills. After guiding to participants acquired passably result. Besides helping teachers teach physics in critical thinking skills, especially on abstract concepts, but will have a positive impact on improving the quality of learning that is managed and can help physics teachers to use the media, information technology (ICT), so teachers of physics would have the technologically literacy can utilize ICT as a medium of contextual learning. Through science and technology programs IbM for the society, can help physics teachers in improving the quality of teaching management in accordance with the 2013 curriculum Science Method approach, can utilize the PhET simulation in collaboration among teachers.Keyword :Physic learning PhET Simulation, critical thinking skill
