Abstract

The fire exceeds the scenario of traditional political representation and spreads aesthetic avant-garde knowledges all around, preventing us to calculate the effects. This paper propose to review some cases linking the problem of representation in politics to the issues of representation in symbolic languages in the current context of economic recession and mass mobilizations in Spain.

The first part of the paper will address some questions concerning tactical media, audiovisual and performative practices that are developed massively and by amateurs in an expanded field between the streets and the networks. The second part start with the slogan "They don’t represent us" to pose some significative questions of Movimiento15-M’s creative and organizational practices.
