ff:i$0i:'g,T."i::':I am delighted to inform you that the P.E department is offering your child the opportunityto Ski for 5 days in Andorra during the Easter Holidays of the 2014-2015 academic year,r:unning from Sunday the 5h April to Saturday 11th Aprit 2015. The trip will give all pupils afantastic opportunity to develop their skiing skills in the picturesque setting of Vallnord.

The trip will be running through Ski Adaptable. We will be staying at Hotel Vita which is afantastic, centrally located 3" hotel offering high quality rooms, excellent food and free WiFi.The Hotel is located 5 minutes walk away from the main gondola in Arinsal Village andcomes with a full in-house aprds ski programme, games room, disco and DVD room. Allrooms have private en-suite bathroom facilities, TV, hairdryer and telephone. Some roomscome with balconies overlooking the village.

The cost is inclusive of:

. 5x4hourski lessons

. Full ski equipment hire (including boots, skis, poles and helmeO & Ski BreakageCover

o Lift pass for the Vallnord ski area

- . Fullwinter sports and travel medical insurance

. Snow guarantee insurance

o Return coach transfer from Wilmington Academy to Southend Airport

o Return flights from Southend to Barcelona with Easyjet (subject to availability)

o All current airport taxes, check-in and checked in luggage

Return foreign transfers from airport to hotel

o 6 night's accommodation at HotelVita (3.)

. Full Board - Continental breakfast, hot lunch on the slopes and evening meal

. Evening entertainment including: bowling, ice skating and pizza party; disco andDVD night (subject to change)

o Drinks ARE NOT included (other than water at meal times) so please beised to allocate your child daily spending money to account for this.

The total cost of the trip for 7 days and 6 nights is f899. This amount can be spreadacross the year into the following installments:

lf you would like your child to attend the trip please return the agreement below signed anddated with a photocopy of the photo page of your child's passport, along with a deposit oft200 by 17th September 2014. There is a maximum of 14 places for this trip so allocationswill be made on a first-come, first-served basis. All payments must be made viaParentPay.

Please note air-seats have not currentty been released for Aprilso p/ease bear inmind that the quoted price is not guaranteed until the flights are released andbooked. lf the air-seats are above costing when released Ski Adaptable willendeavor to find a solution not to increase the quoted price.

Current legislation permits us to ask only for a voluntary contribution towards the cost of avisit. No student will be discriminated against on the grounds of inability to pay. However,if sufficient funds are not raised through contributions, then unfortunately the visit will haveto be cancelled.

lf you would like your child to attend the trip, please read the following informationcarefully:

. . All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.. All pupils must have a European Health lnsurance Card (EHIC).. lf your child has a record of poor/irresponsible behaviour then their attendance on

the trip may be refused for the safety primarily of themselves, but also for the otherstudents and attending staff.

. lf your child attends and is poorly behaved, enough to warrant immediate return tothe UK, it is the responsibility of the parent to travel to Andorra to collect andaccompany their child back to the UK. Costs will not be covered by insurance.

.. . On the morning of departure, if your child is not at school for the coach departuretime, the coach WILL leave without your child and it will be the responsibility of theparent to get their child to the airport in time for the flight. Any child who misses theflight due to lateness will not be entitled to a refund.

o All pupils will be expected to participate fully in the activities over the course of theweek.
