The focus of the 1st online International FDP in “Recent trends transforming life sciences-Focus on academia and industry symbiosis” This one-week International interdisciplinary FDPprogramme will empower the faculty members in their concerned field of research by exposingthem to the latest concept, innovations, applications of the life sciences. Importance of the FDP Covid-19 Pandemic has opened up new challenges in the field of Life Sciences research anddevelopment. This pandemic created a huge spectrum of opportunities in life Sciencesespecially for Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology,Medical Microbiology, Artificial Intelligence and also the importance of Biosafety and BioSecurity. In this current pandemic situation Life, Sciences Industry enabled enormousbreakthroughs in our life to understand the importance of life by studying the structural,molecular dynamics of cells. The knowledge gained in life sciences made all the researchers,academics as well as industry professionals across the globe find the important applications ofthis field in teaching, Innovations in medical diagnosis, health care management and vaccinedevelopment. The Objective of FDP The main objective of this FDP programme is to know about the basic sciences translationalapplications in the field of life sciences academia and Industry. This FDP programme will helpall the faculty members in enhancing their innovative thinking and scientific temper towardstranslational research with industry. Why Faculty should attend this FDP? This One week International FDP Programme will cover the latest translational research andits applications in all major interdisciplinary fields of life sciences. This Programme willstrengthen the academia and Industry symbiosis. Content of the FDP The curriculum is a careful blend of sessions that cover a wide range of topics under thefollowing themes: (I). Applied Bio-Sciences. (II). Bio-Medical Sciences. (III). MicrobiomeSciences. (IV). Bio-pharma sciences. (V). Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences. (VI). Biosafetyand Biosecurity.

Programme Delivery Mode The online FDP is delivered in Device-to-Device (D2D) mode on the Zoom platform with adequate securityfeatures. The participants will attend the sessions by logging in from their computer/ Tab / Mobile. Days & Timings of Sessions The programme will be conducted from September 13th – 18th, 2021. There is one session per day from 02.00 pmto 4.00 pm (IST) except Day 1 and Day 6. Who may attend? It is designed for all faculty teachers and researchers working in Medical institutes, universities, colleges andprofessional institutes, or other government and private professional training institutes. Experience in teachinglife sciences or allied subjects is desirable, although we will consider candidates pursuing PDF aspiring for acareer in academics Certification On successful completion of all the sessions, the participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation inthe Online international Faculty Development Programme on “Recent Trends in Transforming Life Sciences-Focus on Academia and Industry Symbiosis”. Selection & Admission Process 1.Candidate should submit an online application: https://forms.gle/whWVbMrXRkYg4eh762. The organizers will review the application within 3 working days after submission and communicate theselection decision to the candidate. 3. Selected candidates should send consent within 2 days of receiving the admission offer to confirm theparticipation along with their college Identity card. 4. Admissions will continue on a first-come-first-serve basis (based on the above steps) until 05-September-2021or until the maximum intake (as approved by the organizer) is met, whichever happens, earlier. 5. This program is completely free. There is no registration fee to attend this program.
