The AIT programme aims to support sci-entists in transforming their high-levelapplied research into market applica-tion and discovering their entrepreneur-ial potential.By connecting scientists from top institu-tions in Switzerland and India, the pro-gramme promotes an international net-work and enables access to one of themost promising markets and intellectualcapitals in applied research.

Being selected for this programmeoffers researchers a unique oppor-tunity to: • Develop a better understanding ofthe industry environment and establishconnections and first partnerships inthe untapped Indian market.

• Access a wide network of peers, men-tors and industry experts and acquiretools and skills to analyse the applica-tion of their research.

• Boost the recognition of your innova-tion

• Connect to high-level researchers intheir field from Switzerland and India.

• Improve market application by vali-dating their ideas with peers, expertsand potential customers.

ElegibilityOpen to 10 high-level and carefullyselected researchers: Master, PhD, Post-docs and researchers of Swiss Universi-ties, Universities of Applied Science andresearch institutes or centres of techno-logical excellence with research trackrecord working on a non-profit basis (cf.LERI Art. 15 for details) – seeking toexplore the successful market applica-tion of their high-level applied research.

Selection of Swiss participants (interviews): June

October 2016: 1-week in Bangalore, India

November 2016: 4-days Camp in Switzerland

Award of the AIT Innovation Grantto the most promising projects to sup-port its realization as R&D market appli-cation or start-up.

Applicants are expected to participate inboth the Indian Camp in October 2016and the Swiss Camp in November 2016,if selected.

Travel and accommodation expenses inBangalore will be covered. The pro-gramme is free of charge and highlycompetitive.
