Prayogshala’ – a unique programme designed

to create interest among the students in the

field of Science through fun-based lab

experiments is organized every year at SSSIE.

This year volunteers who are alumni of IIT,

Madras, SSSIHL organized lab-based practical

coaching for class X students in various Science

concepts as per CBSE curriculum.

Bridge Academy, Chennai organized an international cultural festival called ‘Kalaisangamam’

at Malaysia for the grade exam toppers.

7 of our students (2 Veena, 2 Keyboard, 2 Flute and 1 Mridangam) who excelled in the grade

exam were selected to participate in this mega event.

Other than the main programme at the MBPJ Civic Hall, Petaling Jaya, they presented

mellifluous programmes at Sri Sundararaja Perumal temple, Klang and at Sri Subramanya

Swami temple, Batu Caves. All received appreciations from the elders for their performance

SSSIE offers coaching in more than 10 fine arts such as Carnatic Vocal, Veena, Mridangam, Violin, Flute, Drums, Keyboard, Bharathanatyam, Tabla, Art & Craft etc.

Balvikas – the human value education class is offered to all the students studying at SSSIE.

Students are regularly prepared to write the All India Balvikas Examination in Group II,

Group III. Students who successfully passed the Group II examination were felicitated.

Creative Connections – a USA based NGO runs the ARTLINK CULTURAL EXCHNGE

PROGRAMME across more than 50 countries. SSSIE is a partner school that participates in

They participated in the Fabric Yoga event on behalf of the TN team and won second prize in

the event. They received Silver Medals and Certificates for their marvellous performance.

Shree Banaskantha Palanpur Jain association, Chennai – our school well-wishers support the

school for Nithya Narayana Seva (Free noon meals scheme), provided to all the day scholar

students and teachers.

The Seva provides a great opportunity for the parents to participate in community seva by

Only when the leaders are value-based, the followers will also be value-based. SSSIE

organized the 3rd Annual Seminar on ‘Value based Educational Governance’ for School

Principals and Educators, exclusively catering to the call for implementation of Value based

education in schools.

The seminar was attended by school Principals, Vice-Principals and management authorities

of schools located in and around Chennai.

Every year, during Deepavali vacation

students carry out a holiday project called

‘COD’ (Ceiling on Desires). They save

money by limiting their desires on

Crackers/Dress/Food etc.

The money saved is contributed for the annual Grama Seva during Swami’s birthday

celebrations. Students sacrificed their sleep and prepared 1500 Food and Laddu packets for

the Seva. The following Seva activities were performed during the Grama Seva.

Students and staff were blessed to visit the nearby old age home and interact with the

grandmas and grandpas and serve food.

All the inmates felt very happy receiving the unconditional love from the students.

Every year, SSSIE undertakes buttermilk distribution Seva on the Nemilichery High Road

during the hot Summer season in April and May months.

The Seva is done regularly with benign support from the Shree Banaskantha Palanpur Jain

Association and the SSSIE Non-teaching Staff and Students. Daily around 450 people

benefitted from the Seva and appreciated the noble community Seva.

Rs.25,000 Scholarship is offered to students who are academically excellent with

meritorious character by Educational Services Foundation, USA with support from various

well-wishers of the school.

During 2018-19, the scholarship was given to 23 selected students.

The Maha Kumbabhishekam for Lord Sri Vidya Ganesh Temple, Lord Sri Sai Balamuruga

Temple, Lord Sri Hanuman Temple, Lord Sri Krishna Temple, Lord Sri Shirdi Saibaba temple

were performed as per Agama traditions by the Asthana Shivacharyas of the Dharmapuram

Adheenam. All the temples were renovated and colourfully painted for the purpose.

examinations, a new state-of-the-art exam hall was built and inaugurated on the third floor

of the new school building.

SSSIE was renovated with new furniture
