Accelerate will generate tangible outcomes across a wide range of management levels, however it is primarily designed for high potential talent seeking to increase their leadership capacity or existing managers seeking to fast-track their management capability and performance.

It is an intensive learning and development experience which will help develop a general management perspective, widen business knowledge and deepen leadership capability and understanding creating the platform for optimum performance.

Through coaching and peer-group feedback, your leadership skills are challenged and developed while leveraging your learning and connection with other commercial leaders from different industry sectors.

360 SURVEY ISSUED The ACCELERATE Leadership Programme commences with a 360° survey designed to explore leadership and management competencies. Findings from the survey assist in customising the programme for each individual, provides invaluable insights and enables participants to extract optimal value and learnings.

BREAKTHROUGH LEADERSHIP

Discover what it takes to be an effective and impactful leader both globally and in NZ’s unique context. Using an experiential and practical approach and a values centred framework, participants explore leadership essentials, awareness and authenticity, create a leadership vision and develop their leadership potential.

COMMUNICATION AND INFLUENCE

Focus on the development and understanding of emotional and sphere intelligences; identify and adapt communication styles; adopt empathic listening to build trust and rapport, explore the power of influence and the crucial role of effective communication in leading self and others.

COACHING SESSION TWO

BUILDING & LEADING TEAMS

Explore the practical implications of managing diverse, challenging teams and the dynamics of team behaviour. Develop a culture that supports effective teamwork and achieves results.Examine the qualities shared by high-performing teams and identify effective strategies to build trust, manage conflict, gain commitment and optimise engagement.

OPTIMISING PERFORMANCE

Appraise the many parts of an effective performance management system, explore motivation, develop practical skills to coach team members, learn a process to provide feedback and create a high performance and collaborative culture.

COACHING SESSION THREE

LEADING CHANGE & BUILDING RESILIENCE

Discover the skills required for understanding and leading change, learn how to build resilience for yourself and your teams, and focus on workplace sustainability and a change ready team.

COACHING SESSION FOUR

CREATIVITY, INNOVATION & STRATEGIC THINKING

Explore creativity and innovation and alternative ways of looking at problems. Make brilliant decisions using proven decision-making tools. Apply tools to provide a high-level strategic plan for your team that you can use to drive greater business outcomes.

FUTURE FOCUS Recognise skills to manage time and prioritise important tasks, apply adult learning principles to develop team members, formulate your future focus vision and confidently take action to achieve personal and organisational goals and objectives.

GRADUATION Reconnect with your learning and leadership progression and celebrate your achievements and milestone with your cohort.

Each cohort is limited to 15 and provides participants the opportunity to accelerate their leadership capability alongside other professional peers in a small focused environment whilst applying impactful practical learning immediately back in the workplace.

The investment for this transformational eight month programme is $8500 + GST which includes a complimentary IMNZ 12 month membership.

ACCELERATE Programme OverviewACCELERATE runs over an eight month period and includes seven workshop days which are supported by four one-on-one coaching sessions to fully embed the learning and active leadership transformational change.
