Accelerated Preview Program – Math 9
Description
This preview program ensures that students fully understand concepts in Math 8 that are
required for Math 9. This includes a review of fundamental skills such as integers and fractions
to ensure a high level of competency in Math 9. Students are also introduced to the topics in
Math 9 and will be using the Math 9 workbook.
This program is divided into 6 modules. Challenging concepts will be covered in detail. By giving
a full preview of the materials, students will have a better idea of what is taught in class, thereby
increasing their productivity in school.
Lesson Format
Lessons are available for both individual tutoring and group tutoring of 2 to 3 students. Lessons
will be held at the student's home or at a public location (e.g.: library).
Private lessons have flexible start dates and are self-paced. Students may request for as many
lessons as necessary to understand each concept. Group lessons start date varies and follow a
set schedule that is determined based on the students’ availability. Please contact us for more
detail.
Lesson Rates
Private Lessons: $34 per hour*
Group Lessons: $26 per hour for each student
Workbook: $50.00
* An additional $5 travel fee will be assessed for 1-hour lesson
Textbook and Materials
A workbook containing over 300 pages, with many
examples and exercises is required.
