The access to a user's mailbox is via the following protocols: POP, IMAP & HTTP.
Connect Xf simplifies the task of defining access control to a user's mailbox over all the above protocols from different networks, thereby protecting valuable data from being misused.

Defining the access control for the Sales team members using COS
1. Select the Entity View
2. Select the SalesCOS entity in the list of UserCOS 3. Go to the Directory tab
4. Select “nocheck” as the IMAP Access, POP
Access and HTTP access settings.
5. Click on the Save button to commit the
changes.
Defining the access control for the Developer team members using COS – Step 1
1. Select the Entity View
2. Select the Developer COS entity in the list of
User COS3. Go to the Directory tab
4. Select “check” as the value for the IMAP Access
for the Developer COS
5. Double click on the Property value field of IMAP client IP or IP
Range. In the popup box, define the LAN IP range and click on Save button to commit the changes.
