The ME-CB conduit box is designed to work with Magnum ME, MS, and RD Series Inverter/Chargers. It provides an enclosure for AC and/or DC wiring and has knockouts for ½”, ¾”, 1”, and 2” trade-size conduit. The ME-CB adds just over 5” (13 cm) to the length of the inverter.
Protection against costly damage: The ME-125F, ME-200F, ME-300F, and ME-400F protect the battery bank, inverter, and cables from damage caused by short circuits and overloads.
Complete kit in one package: Magnum Energy fuses include a Slow-Blow high current fuse, a mounting block, and protective cover.

The F-Series hydraulic/magnetic high amperage circuit breakers are designed to handle high current applications in extremely hot and/or cold locations. Due to its time-proven hydraulic/magnetic design, the F-Series load sensing mechanism is insensitive to changes in ambient or enclosure temperature, providing a consistent trip point over temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.In addition, the F-Series
circuit breakers come with a choice of overload time delays, making them ideal for critical applications having inductive loads.

DescriptionThe SPF Solar Protection Fuse series has been specifically designed for the protection of photovoltaic (PV) systems. This family of Midget style fuses (10 x 38 mm) can safely protect PV modules and conductors from reverse- overcurrent conditions.
As PV systems have grown in size, so have the corresponding voltage requirements. This increase in system voltage has typically been intended to minimize power loss associated with long conductor runs. Standard circuit protection devices are not designed to completely protect photovoltaic panels. However, the SPF series is UL Listed to safely interrupt faulted circuits up to this demanding voltage level.
Littelfuse offers 14 ampere ratings to match specific requirements in a variety of applications.

IntroductionThe Magnum Energy ANL Fuse/Fuse Block is designed to provide code com-pliant overcurrent protection for DC systems up to 32-volts. It protects the battery bank, inverter, and cables from damage caused by short circuits and overloads. The ANL fuse cartridge delivers instantaneous protection in the event of a short circuit, as well as a time delay to allow the momentary current surges that are common in inverter applications. Magnum small fuse blocks are available in 125 and 200 amp models. Our ANL fuse holder is molded from glass-fi lled nylon, has an insulating cover, and includes two black rub-ber terminal insulators to protect conductive areas from accidental shorts. The ANL fuses are rated for 32-volt DC systems (48-volts maximum) and are an economical alternative to the Class-T fuses. These fuses have a clear window that provides open-fuse indication; and, have a durable Polyethersul-fone body and riveted construction to offer superior service life in heavy-duty applications.Fuse selection is based upon the size of the conductor between the battery and the load. Keep in mind that the conductor’s current carrying capability is affected by: the length of the cable between the battery and the load, and the conductor’s wire type and temperature rating. Refer to the Table 1 for assistance in selecting a fuse.
InstallationThe battery, fuse block, and inverter should be located as close together as possible – without being in the same enclosure. Batteries can produce explosive gasses that may be ignited by the fuse. For code compliance, locate the fuse within 18” (45 cm) of the battery, and with at least 6” (15 cm) clearance from other equipment on each end. When changing the fuse, it may be energized by the battery; allow additional clearance if grounded metal surfaces (such as the inverter’s chassis) are nearby.Attach the fuse block base to a secure surface using the appropriate hardware (refer to Figure 1). Make the connections to the fuse block fi rst (see Figure 2 for proper hardware stacking), then to the battery, and fi nally to the inverter. Place the rubber terminal insulators on the battery cables before securing the cable lugs to the fuse posts.NOTE: The fuse should not be installed in the grounded conductor.Torque the Hex nuts to ~150 inch-pounds (16.9 N-m). The lock washers provided must be installed to ensure a quality and long lasting connection.Check the cables for correct polarity with a voltmeter before making the fi nal connections to the inverter.
WARNING: Failure to comply with torque specifi cations may result in damage and premature failure of the product. Failures caused by not adhering to the proper torque specifi cations are not covered by warranty.
WARNING: Before replacing a fuse, ensure all AC/DC power sources are de-energized (i.e., breakers opened, fuses removed) to prevent accidental shock.

WARNING: During installation, incorrect stacking of the fuse block hardware can create a highly resistive connection that generates heat. DO NOT place anything (i.e., washers) between the fuse and either battery cable lug as this can cause the fuse to overheat and blow open, resulting in a partial melting of the fuse holder and cover. Before stacking, refer to Figure 2.

* The published time delay curves are generated at 30oC ambient temperature with the Circuit Breaker mounted in the up-right position. The “must hold”, “must trip” and “instantaneous trip” current values are not affected by temperature, although delay time for the other operating current values may have to be adjusted using the temperature compensation curve which is available on request.

ULTRASAFE MODULAR FUSE HOLDERS
Ferraz Shawmut ULTRASAFETM modular 24, 48 and600 volt Fuse Holders introduce a new level ofsafety for Class CC (USCC) and Midget 1-1/2" x13/32" (USM) as well as DC rated fuses up to 30amperes. ULTRASAFEholders qualify as “finger safe”under IEC and DIN standards to an IP20 grade of protection, including fuse changing (with the flick ofa finger). ULTRASAFE holders are available in 1, 2, 3or 4 poles, with or without blown-fuse indicators ineach pole. AC indicators are orange and DC arered. The multi-pole units can also be made up byordering pin-tie handles for field assembly. ULTRASAFE holders save up to 15% mountingspace and any combination can be snapped onto35mm DIN rail for extra savings in panel buildingtime. ULTRASAFE holders with Class CC fuses chosen for Type “2” protection give one of the safestprotection packages in the industry. Ultrasafe bodymaterial is tough and durable polyamide, withexceptional insulating properties.
