MMARAS Procedures in Black Spot Identification
RSU analyzes data and feeds information to PNP, LGUs, MMDA and other interested parties
MMDA –
Road Safety Unit personnel goes to various traffic stations/sectors and collects all available traffic
accident data on weekly basis.
RSU checks accidents records, adds a location code and key data into the MMARAS Database
Accidents
Police Officer records details of casualty accidents on their log book
Police Officer conduct investigation, record data
RSU identifies black spots based on data gathered
