What to consider
Distance to UADE It is not only important to consider real distance but also time to get there. BA is a busy city.
Means of Transportation Usually buses and metro. Trains can also be useful.
Security day time Some places are safe during daytime and should be avoided by night.

Bars & Restaurants Some areas are full of restaurants and bars.
Shops Some areas concentrate little shops, others are close to shopping centres.
Night Life There are special areas for dancing places and pubs.
Nature and peace Getting a little bit out of BA can be interesting if looking for less crowded places.

What to consider when chosing
Always have in mind
• Smaller flats (2 or 3 pax) are easier to get than bigger ones (2 or 3 bedrooms).
• Sometimes you can get 2 or 3 flats in the same building, to be around your friends.
• It is possible to get nice places with amenities such as terraces and swimming pools to enjoy argentina´s hot summer.
• Consider BA is a very large city and you will need to use Buses and Subways everyday. It is rarely possible to move walking, as distances are big.
• Some places may seem to be farther but they may have better access to UADE than nearer places.
• Do not trust every webpage you see. Pictures can be tricky and sometimes nice flats are very badly located and therefore unsafe.
• Some flats may be cheaper than others but they may not include electricity, gas, water and other expenses. Take this into account when comparing.
Renting recquirements and process
• Reservation Fee: you will be asked for € 200 per person as reservation fee. This will be discounted from the price to pay when you arrive to BA.
• Deposit: you will be asked to pay for 1 month deposit, as garantee. This money will be returned to you when you leave the flat. It is meant to cover any extra expenditures (broken things) or misspays.
• Administration Fee: some flats may charge you around €20 as administration fee, per flat, only once. Extra charge may apply if you arrive at night (€30).
• Payment method: almost every flat recquires full payment of the complete stay in advance. This can save you money (get some discount). Only few flats let you pay per month, but can be negotiated.
• Confirmation period: January and February are high season months in BA. If you want to get something nice, at a good price, you should move fast. It is advisable to make a decision before December starts.
