If you love to eat sushi at restaurants, learn how to make it at home. Or, even if you have mastered the basics of sushi, we will be preparing different kinds of sushi rolls that you may encounter in Japanese restaurants. We will be making hand-rolled sushi such as Futomaki (traditional wide roll), Uramaki (inside out roll) and Temaki (hand roll cone), and Hosomaki (traditional thin roll). Learn the Basics of SewingIn this class, you will learn how to adjust a commercial pattern to fit your body correctly! You will learn to start your sewing project on the muslin fabric. Before you actually cut your fabric, you will choose to make a skirt and/or a top. You may bring your own sewing machine or share a classroom machine that is available in the classroom.
