In 2014 it’s 70 years since Alvaro Celli opened his first machine shop, and the A.Celli Group has now decided to upgrade the institutional logo to highlight the new stra-tegic direction.
The first official logo design dates back to 1993. In 2003 A.Celli decided to drop the extension “mechanical indus-tries“ and to replace it with “paper“ and “nonwovens“, thus giving the new divisions an individual image that still retains the family feeling.
The 2014 update is by no means aimed at lessening the strength of the two companies that today represent the Group on the market. Instead, it seeks to underscore their capabilities, their complementary nature, the possi-bility of exploiting collaboration between the two worlds to the fullest, intersecting technologies and business.
With this new identity, not only is A.Celli communicat-ing the force of its history and experience, but also the flexibility and dynamism that have characterized its busi-ness approach in the last few years. Qualities that have become concrete in the ability to exploit the synergies between Paper and Nonwovens.

7The A.Celli logo is the expression of a strong link with the history of the group.
The restyling of 2014 renews the logo without affecting its identity and set of values , synthesizing forms and acting on the colors with simplicity and originality at the same time.
A.Celli has chosen the colour blue, synonymous of experi-ence, that in all its nuances is closely tied to wisdom and serenity. The colour of uniforms, sign of authority, blue is also the historic colour of workers, pillar of strength of every company. And also a colour that in communication transmits trust, truth and security. The new logo is a perfect balance between innovation and tradition, modernity and history, proven values together with a new approach to technology and to the markets.
For this reason, there is the dot on the i! A detail in red, stimu-lating color, sign of strength, passion, courage, zeal and en-thusiasm, qualities that represent the attitude of A.Celli.

The A.Celli official brand colours are BLUE and RED. These can be reproduced with the indicated RGB and CMYK specifications, or by spot colour printing (PANTONE).
This page lists the percentages in CMYK, Pantone refer-ences and RGB codes for the web and video.

As far as possible, for communications, the logo must be used in its colour version on a white background.
The logo in its colour version is reproduced only in positive.
The use of colours is allowed for a grey background up to 15%. For any other application, please use the logo in the negative form.
The one colour logo is used to make printing very economical or when printing is performed with a single colour.

The preferred use of the logo for communications is the version on a white background.
It is not allowed to use the A.Celli logo on coloured backgrounds, with the ex-ception of special cases to be evaluated from time to time.
For backgrounds of over 70% grey, use the white negative form.

The general rule is to leave a border of white space around the logo that is 1/2 of its height.
In this area there should be no type nor other graphic ele-ments.
READABILITY OF THE LOGO

Above this size, there are no limitations of scaling.

Change the institutional colour palette.

In the event that the Helvetica font is not available, it can be replaced with the Arial font (Windows operative system).
For texts on print material or different forms of communi-cation, it is advisable to use the Helvetica font (light, light italic, medium, medium italic, bold, bold italic).

The first A.Celli language is British English.
In documents with multiple languages , the texts in English are positioned on the left or on top of other languages.
The name A.Celli has a dot after the A, no space between the dot and the C, and in normal version the A and the C are always capitalized. The group consists of several A.Celli companies. For their names the examples below must be followed, paying attention to upper/lowercase letters and punctuation.

In business texts, the correct practice is to write, when men-tioned first, the name of the company in question in its full form, for example A.Celli Paper s.p.a.
