October 2014 November 2014 Weekly email – Mentor Minute (PC) Oct. 20th, Pumpkin Carving at school, (Billy Silly) Oct 26th – Pizza Lunch at school (Joan Loan)

Weekly email – Mentor Minute (PC) Thank you cards distributed at board meeting, divide up mentors equally, board member writes the thank you to each. November 11th – Mentor Huddle (Sally Mally)

December 2014 January 2015 Weekly Email – Mentor Minute (PC) Christmas card put in the sign in book for each mentor and handed out to each mentee, by December 15th. (PC)

Weekly Email – Mentor Minute (PC) National Mentoring Month – mentee writes a thank you to the mentor. Mentee hands the card to the mentor at a visit in January.

Dec. 14th. Cookie Decorating (Joan Loan)

Jan 14th Recognize matches at home basketball game. Matches get in free, Hospitality Room with meal served to matches. (Joan Loan, Sally Mally, Billy Silly)

Recognize mentors that have 12+ visits (Captain Jack)

February 2015 March 2015 Weekly email – Mentor Minute (PC) Each mentor/mentee receives a Valentine candy with a note that says “you’re the sweetest”. (Sandy Hill)

Weekly email – Mentor Minute (PC) All mentors receive a phone call of appreciation from a board member (mentors are divided up amongst the board members)

All matches interested make a tie blanket, blankets are donated to the local senior center (Sally Mally)
