Gadjah Mada University (UGM), in Yogyakarta, is one of Indonesia’s top universities

Yogyakarta, which is located in central Java, is a bustling
town of some 500, 000 people and the most popular tourist
destination on Java.
Yogya is often referred to as the “cultural heart” or “city of
students.”

Kos comes from the Dutch word “indekos” meaning boarding
house
The majority of students choose to stay in a kos surrounded by Indonesian students, as it gives them constant opportunities for language practice and learning

We give students accurate, up-to-date information, but ACICIS students are not like
tourists.
They live in the community and have 24 hour backup
from ACICIS staff.
