Celebrate the diversity that exists in computing. The Tapia conference features the most diverse gathering of individuals in computing fields. In 2014, Tapia’s 700+ attendee representation included: 47% female 11% Asian/Southeast Asian 38% African American 30% Hispanic/Latino 8% Persons with Disabilities 8% Active/Inactive duty U.S. Armed Forces Connect with others from common genders, ethnicities, disabilities and backgrounds to create communities that extend beyond the conference. With an intimate conference setting, recruiting at Tapia occurs in 1:1 and group settings. Tapia’s rigorous scholarship program brings over 230 students to the conference. Conference sponsors receive early Resume Database access (Fall 2014). Obtain knowledge and advice from leaders in Industry and Academia. Tapia’s collegial environment and engaging conference program allows for multiple opportunities to discuss the latest technical research and innovation. The program includes panels, workshops, poster sessions, BoFs and exciting keynotes where attendees can engage in Q & A with presenters. Be Inspired by leaders in Industry and Academia. The Tapia conference provides attendees the opportunity to experience presentations from technical innovators at the top of their fields.
