Officer Collier was the MIT Police officer that was killed in the line of duty the night the Tsarnaev brothers were fleeing after being identified as the Boston Marathon bombers in 2013. Formally dedicated April May 2015 29,2015, this is the only large format memorial for the events surrounding the bombing. The ACO Drain Brickslot installation came in two sections. The longest section is along the eastern boundary of the memorial running the length of approximately 33 meters.
