    Acoustic Output Transducer/Mode Summary Table

The SUPERSONIC MACH 40 system complies with IEC 60601-2-37standard.

The following table summarizes the transducer/mode combinations forwhich the global maximum displayed MI or TI is greater than 1.0.

    Measurement Uncertainties

The reported expanded uncertainty for the display of mechanical andthermal indices is based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by acoverage factor k=2, providing a coverage probability of approximately95%.

SUPERSONIC MACH 40Acoustic Table Guide 5

  • At the above uncertainty level, the accuracy result for the MechanicalIndex (MI) is +/-19.3% and the accuracy result for the Thermal Index(TI) is +/-53.1%.

    Acoustic Quantity Measurement Uncertainty

    Power (P) +/- 53.1 %

    Pressure ( ) +/- 19.3 %

    Intensity ( at max MI) +/- 53.1 %

    Center frequency ( ) +/- 1 %

Acoustic Output Detailed TablesFor each transducer/mode combination in the table above which ischecked, a detailed acoustic output table has been provided on thefollowing pages.

The probes for which TIC is marked with (b) are not intended fortranscranial or neonatal cephalic uses.
