our mission

The goals of the iCommute program are to: • reduce traffic congestion during peak‐time• help commuters understand the commute choices they have

• reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental pollutants that result from commuters driving to work each day

• $700 Million allocated for TDM through 2050:• Increase participation in the Regional Vanpool Program by 70% by 2020

• Increase carpooling by 70% by 2020• 10% daily commute trip reduction due to teleworking

• Program Plan Actuals– Actions or offerings that employers did/provided within a certain timeframe 

– Examples:• Assigned an ETC• Signed up for the 2013 Rideshare Week Corporate Challenge• Hosted a bike safety class during Bike to Work Month• Applied for and/or won our annual commuter recognition award (Diamond Awards)

• No more long application forms• Easier for employers• As employer commuter programs start/grow/expand, they receive points and their Diamond Award levels automatically increase as they enhance their program

• Also accounts for employee participation to reduce SOV
