Scene StealersAge 8+ | 12.30pm-2pm Saturdays | £80 per term

Scene Stealers focus on a different topic each term using improvisation, script work, games and characterisation to develop drama skills. Equally importantly we have fun, forge friendships and build self-esteem in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This group provides a springboard to our devised theatre company - Spotlighters.

These classes/groups offer a professional introduction to drama and theatre, with a focus on the development of theatre skills. Our highly motivated and inspiring sessional tutors

deliver focussed and expert tuition individually tailored to the needs of young people. We also programme a series of special masterclasses annually. Rather than being on a pay-per-class

basis, these groups are charged per term and meet weekly on Saturdays or Wednesdays. To enquire or book, contact Paula Gibson, Artistic Director on 01224 635208

SpotlightersAge 12-18 | 3.30pm-5.30pm Saturdays | £80 per term

Previous productions include ‘The Demon Headmaster,’ ‘Honk!’ and this year’s choice is the ever popular ‘Oliver’. They also take part in a festive family event with their senior counterparts in a Christmas Cabaret.

Castlegate Theatre Company Age 16+ | 7.15pm-9.15pm Wednesdays | £80 per term

EXHIBITIONSOur Exhibitions are free and open to all.

The Gallery space is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am - 4pm.

Jean Paul Baptiste presents

ART SAVED MY LIFE

4 MARCH - 31 MARCH

The exhibition will include an assimilation of works that are not connected though a common vein and bare little or no resemblance to one another, rather, they portray a schizophrenic representation of the current times of purely superficial and aesthetic fleeting attention spans, reflecting the multiplicity of personality and the ongoing search for a non-existent singular meaning.

Stéphanie Vandem presents

ACKNOWLEDGE ME! PART 1

7 APRIL - 30 APRIL

Stéphanie Vandem’s second solo show in Aberdeen investigates issues of privacy and personal space. It particularly focuses on the tensions between ‘public and private’ and on aspects of an individual’s negotiation of his/her basic humanity within highly visible environments. Inspired by the large compositions of the Renaissance period, Stéphanie continues on her artistic path of semi-abstraction in search of her own striking, large and powerful compositions.
