Company Introduction
Active Asphalt commenced operating in July 1999 as a small business and continues to
expand and improve their operations. The company has been owned and operated by
Graham Nuske since its inception and has undertaken works for
State and Local Government as well as for private clients in both the Industrial and
Commercial and residential sector.
Active Asphalt has experience and expertise in the following

Managing Director Is responsible for the overall performance of the operations in all aspects of Active Asphalt .
Operations Manager
Is responsible for ensuring that:
The code of practice requirements are implemented by these Management System Documents
The integrated Management system is understood, implemented and maintained
All aspects of the system are regularly audited
Independent auditors are appointed and necessary scheduling and co-ordination is carried out to ena-
ble them to carry out their audit and make a report
Audit reports are t be reviewed by management and filed
Review and authorisation of tenders
Signing of contracts
Employing of staff
Appointing subcontractors and purchasing supplies
Review the Integrated Management System with office and staff members to ensure it is understood,
implemented and maintained at all levels
Authorise the integrated Management system documents including forms for issue and use
Site management and administration
Development and implementation of Project Management Plans
Preparation and approval of Inspection Test Plans
OH & S Risk analysis and preparation of environmental action statements
Check subcontractors and suppliers management systems
Calculation of prices for tenders and quotations
